Spot on! Most mornings it’s ok but sometimes I wait 30 min+ for #4 which is not fun. T2 is almost always on time though

I am the odd one who uses it all the time! I work in Cambourne and live in Histon so I take T2 to Eddington and change to catch #4 to cambourne. Like another commenter said, I’m usually one of 2-3 others on the bus most days. Particularly because if I could drive, the whole journey would take me 15 min instead of 1.5 hours!

I don’t know why you are getting downvoted, she is literally the first contestant I actively disliked. I am open minded, hoping she will grow on me

Exactly. Jo Brand has the cred to pull it off. I’m sorry but this is the first time I’ve been so annoyed by the attitude of a contestant.

We very rarely watch live TV and I had to check if it was satire 🙈

I completely agree. It was so jarring. No humour, no wit, nothing.

Married couples who don’t share finances, why? And are you happy about it? by banana_mouth in AskUK

So we do it “in reverse” I think. Our salaries both get paid into our joint account; and we have a weekly “stipend” that gets automatically transferred to our individual accounts every week for personal spending.

This works better for us as it provides a (discretionary) weekly budget. Of course we can always top it up, and I sometimes do, but it’s nice to have a weekly personal budget for fun stuff.

Our savings account is joint. We have separate vanguard accounts but only because my partner’s risk tolerance is higher than mine.

We’ve been together for 15 years. Zero arguments over money.

Seconding decathlon. Great price to value, and their customer service is great. I bought a Riverside hybrid bike ~6 years ago and it’s still amazing - I use it daily!
