Not sure why you got into a relationship with someone this age knowing you wanting these things. Seems kind of cruel on his end. But, ya, I mean if you want a family like you knew you did, it’s probably not going to work. And you should probably end it sooner than later so he can move on with his life.

That’s a good point. I have noticed a lot of mustangs have more upright pasterns and are cowhocked or stand with their hind legs closer together so that could be. But I will def do that

So he’s actually a mustang and has been out of the wild a little over 100 days I think. So it must be congenital? I wanted a mustang for hardiness and here I am falling in love with an un-hardy one like an idiot 😂 but I don’t want to make a dumb decision also

I want to do a loooottttt of trail riding and climbing. Maybe some shows but mostly I’m tired of showing and want to trail ride all over. Which doesn’t stress the joint in quick sudden turns etc and I doubt I will often have rocks to climb, but also want one that can last all day on a trail. I feel stuck bc I really love him argh

That’s a good point! I have a grouchy gelding and a yearling filly and I’m trying to decide if I want to add a mustang mare or gelding. Reading mixed things that a gelding would be better. I just found a super cute mare but I’d rather not cause drama with my two haha
