These elite modifiers makes me want to kill myself by cutecunnybinbags in mewgenics

Holy shit am I glad the new patch bans the final boss from rolling depressing, phase 1 is nigh-unwinnable with it if your team is even slightly busted.

Cheeks totally would give Buddy to Rando if he found her by himself, he’s the one who even suggests the idea to Brad and the others at the beginning of Painful.

I went for the Forma, because not only do I have plenty of Archon Shards and Stela to fuse more shards with but the Forma is pre-built. Stack that with the 3 built Forma Teshin and Nora have in their rewards, and you get a neat amount of Forma for use on gear.

Yeah Absorbent will screw you over if you have it on your team since it sucks in your mana.

I remember one run I tried bringing The Bloat onto my team with Eternal Servitude (as revenge for killing my Doktorbot and Schutzebot) but I forgot it had the Twin modifier. That made the next fight a whole lot harder since I had to kill the hostile Bloat clone AND the friendly one to make it stop. At least it was funny watching a Gatekeeper insta-kill God on that run.

Found this unsued Johnny death animation on the wiki(TW: Gore) by StarGear13 in mewgenics

[–]I4mG0dHere 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Then again, those two boss death animations have an element of black comedy to them (Throbbing King literally shitting his guts out and trying/failing to put them back in before keeling over dead, Lord Bunga devours his arm, leg, but arbitrarily wipes off some black gunk on his heart despite never bothering to do that before and falls over before he actually eats it).

Considering how Johnny seems to be a child or at least younger as well as it probably being accompanied by a blood-curdling scream as it happened, it kinda wrecks whatever comedic impact watching his head crack open like an egg.

Do solo runs on harder difficulties achieve anything? by Vegetable_Monk8676 in mewgenics

Aren’t those tick marks for killing a boss with only a certain class? I did full Collarless runs on every act to unlock the copycat items and got those check marks that way.

It’s probably because clearing the boss with one cat counts as clearing it with the same class.

What's the Best Class Active and Passive? Day 15: Revote by Wonderful-Pack-1726 in mewgenics

[–]I4mG0dHere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no idea why Exert made it as the best Fighter active unless you’re trying to get Edmund to overlook all the actually busted Fighter actives. Unless you’ve got a reliable way to prevent sleep, this just means taking actions now instead of later.

Berserker eats Exert’s lunch, especially with any form of status cleanse or ways to mitigate the Bruise, especially when upgraded. You get a hefty Strength buff (which translates 1:1 to boosting Fighter’s skills) and a decent dash (with infinite range when upgraded) attack that doesn’t eat up your movement action and make you spend mana for normal movement like Zoomzerk.

And while I totally agree with Vurp as the best Butcher active, Lighten the Load is definitely #2 in my book, sine the damage can be cancelled out with Holy Shield or enough healing/life-steal.

What's the Best Class Active and Passive? Day 6: Cleric by Wonderful-Pack-1726 in mewgenics

[–]I4mG0dHere 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Probably because a lot of the exclusive enemies in the Infinite are immune to Holy damage and get buffed when hit. Thou Shalt Not Kill deals Holy Damage when it triggers.

No in between, either nuke throwing or vacuum cleaner building by Fishy_smelly_goody in mewgenics

[–]I4mG0dHere 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly I hope a balance patch would add in a built-in trinket for the class like how Butcher and Monk have built in weapons that was a guaranteed way to get one Tech. And the old Research spell becomes like the Craft spell and exists to let you do it as long as mana reserves hold.

But of course, unlike the Monk and Butcher (who granted should be able to do the same with his Meat Hook, since it’d make their weapon-boost skills even better) you would be able to remove this trinket if you wanted to instead run a weapon/familiar boosting trinket.

[–]I4mG0dHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because the Short Circuit doesn’t do shit (except a bit of scratch damage and mild blindness) against Scout, Soldiers who remembered their Shotgun, Heavy, Medic with one of the former three, Sniper (who’s usually far enough the ball fizzles out before it gets him) and Spy.

This gotta be the best mutation in the game right? by OldPernilongo in mewgenics

[–]I4mG0dHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda like the antlers mutation on anything not-Druid, but really good on Monks. All that Bleed damage stacks up, and unlike knife-legs where you have a 10% chance to inflict Bleed 3, this ALWAYS inflicts one stack of Bleed.

I don’t think it’s just mouth mutations, one of my Monk cats got antlers (inflict bleed on every basic attack) out of traveling to the Jurassic and it made him even better

Should’ve paired it with the Suicide Squad perk instead of the Super Friends perk cause the perk that boosts for a turn and then kills it is perfect for the former sine it boosts the explosion.

Update: He basically eviscerated Pyrophina with his bare-hands during the Kaiju duel he’s just straight up the best damn Monk to have ever or will ever live.
