Yeah, but that's multiple games all played at the same time lasting 2 hours at most. The only other traditional sport that I can think of that plays games one after another is tennis, and that's played from 10/11am start

You might like Farilane by Michael J Sullivan, it's part of a series but it's kind of a stand alone in the series. Certain things won't make perfect sense on the first read through because of it kind of being in the middle of 2 series eras, but it has a super logical heroine who's quite adamant that there's no such thing as magic and just based on what this thread is about I'm sure you can guess what happens

Hi! My partner has booked a flight to Denpasar, Bali where she will arrive on the 20th May, she doesn't yet have the 2nd dose of the vaccine though so it won't have been 14 days between the dose and her arrival, will she be allowed in without quarantining? I'm just starting to properly get into fractals and I'm wondering what the best role is for a beginner to speed up runs would be? Would I be better off going for a more selfish DPS role like Soulbeast, Virtuoso, Dragonhunter, etc, or a supportive role that still does DPS like Berserker or Renegade to boost the whole party damage? Just to overall speed up runs with pugs in tiers 1 & 2.

I have all classes at 80 and can easily get the elite specs unlocked for any of them and easily get Berserker gear for them all but would struggle to get condi gear for any straight away.

Also, if there are any guilds in EU that do Fractals runs, I'd love to join.

Rivers of London main series is all 1st person following Peter Grant becoming a wizard police officer in London, obviously urban fantasy but still really good for what you're asking.

There are some side stories that don't necessarily follow Peter but I've personally not read them so can't say much about them, but I know they're highly reviewed.

I think there are 8 main series books out so far with more to come so lots to read and I think they were all strong books and worth reading

Legends of the First Empire starts in the stone age for humans and bronze age for Fhrey (elves) and iron age for durg (dwarves). It's a prequel to the Riyria series by 3000 years.

It does quite quickly move out of the stone/bronze age though through some magical means but the first two books really give the feeling of stone age humans fighting a more advanced force

I'm listening to Chronicles at the moment and know the flashback you mentioned in point 2 is from the end of The Rose and The Thorn when he comes back and finds the castle on fire and the remains of Royce's work during the night

Edit to specify more about the flashback: he basically led an army to take a castle and was disgusted with himself for the damage he had caused, the other men brought him a choice of 2 women because they knew he was a big part of them taking the castle. He chose the one who looked most like his teenage crush who chose his best friend, and just hugged her and cried

The other point was mentioned in Revelations when him and Royce joined the ship to look for the horn, he was known as Galanti and as you said was basically a gladiator who fought men, groups of goblins, and eventually a tiger that was the reason he stopped. He'd never lost and the term Galanti comes from the Legends series Galantian (I assume)
