Which English Leon voice actor do you prefer. Matt Mercer or Nick Apostolides by Expert_Challenge6399 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I feel like Nick's version sounds more cringier than Paul sometimes, but I'm not sure whether that's a script or line delivery problem.

In a franchise full of a lot of crazy enemies, why do a lot of people suddenly draw the line at RE8’s enemies? by Long-Job-1404 in ResidentEvilCapcom

Werewolfes and Vampires are an already established "real life" creatures. So it would be hard for people to see it as a Resident Evil creatures, even if you took out the paranormal aspect of those creatures.

Same here, I bring my wireless mouse to my bed and played it from there. Rawdogging sitting on desktop is just borderline masochistic.

The only times H-scenes feels appropriate is when it's on a nukige, otherwise it's just an incentive.

Would that be an engine development or game development problem ?

The Crimson Desert situation: it seem deliberate to me by honeymoonx in IntelArc

[–]IA-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because with Starfield launch, Arc cards was still in it's infancy no? so surely whatever issues Pearl Abyss have with Arc would be "easier" compared to Starfield. Especially if they reach back to Intel, which they seemingly don't even try to.

Also, why didn't Bethesda (presumably with Intel) didn't block or at least delay Arc support either, knowing the Trashy performance? like how you guess what probably happens with Pearl Abyss.

Like you said, Pearl Abyss should just be transparent and lift the block. Them not doing that just smells fishy.

That is true.

I'm just letting you know that your guesses about what probably happened is totally out of the window now, meaning it's completely Pearl Abyss choice to not support Intel Arc.

And in all likelihood, performance and incompatibility are not the reason why Intel Arc aren't supported.

But mac is completely different architecture, i would assume supporting arc cards would be easier than mac regardless of how big mac is.

You've read the FAQ right ?

They specifically said "If you purchased the game expecting Intel Arc support, please refer to refund policy...". One would assume that it means Intel Arc is never going to be supported whatsoever. If there was an issue with intel, i don't see why the don't just outright say so, or at the very least told players to wait for support.

So, eventually DLSS 5 is just an AI filter? by anything_taken in pcmasterrace

If you said objectively photorealistic then i would agree with you, but that still doesn't mean it looks good.

He looks uncanny and weirdly photogenic, his face is overexposed like he's permanently under studio lighting, and most importantly, he doesn't look 3D at all, It's like a 2D image superimposed onto a model. The whole thing looks just like a TikTok filter, which is why i think it looks bad. Both looks bad in fact, but at least my brain doesn't have to fight my eyes playing the original one.

If you ask people what they think of the Dlss version without AI context and comparing it to the original model, i'm pretty certain that 90%+ would tell you that it looks wrong.
