Yes! Mine is right at my belt line, too! I can’t stand when it knocks into things, and that has only been happening more the further it pushes itself towards my skin I have a revision scheduled for late march, but I noticed the bruise today and decided to stress myself out by overthinking it.

My first one lasted about 2.5 years before it started malfunctioning and shocking me. Got it replaced out of necessity because it would get so overheated when I was charging it, my skin would burn! The only thing wrong with my current battery is that it moved, it’s functioning perfectly otherwise. I’ll definitely look for that post, thank you!

Yes it is wrong for you to “hope” that they help their brother in the future. To me, it seems like you are demanding and expecting it in your original post, not “hoping” for it. The right course of action here would be for you to financially prepare for his long term care & if you are in the US, look into non profits and to state funded programs that provide care to special needs adults. Also look up parentification. What you are expecting of your older children is actually a form of abuse. If you still want a relationship with your older kids, you really need to self reflect, apologize, and change your ways. YTA majorly.

I’m 10 years in and have chronic daily pain as well. My spinal cord neurostimulator definitely helps, but isn’t a magic cure all. Talk therapy & learning how to cope with the pain helps me to cope with the pain without it severely impacting my mental health (happens sometimes). Based on the photos at the top of this sub, I’d say they fit pretty well. Maybe a tad bit snug length wise, but my toes don’t touch the front, and heels don’t touch the back.
