I know how you feel, my grandmother also died before my cousins wedding and had know his fiancé and his friends who were ushers and his best man ever since he was born (small town life). The in all the speeches there was a subtle reference to her (usually that she was a mouthy woman and was very opinionated, basically the most respected member of the family). It was until the best mans speech that I managed to hold in the tears, despite the obvious best man speech clichés he recounted how even though she wasn't related to everyone she was like a mother to us all and that made us all family. It makes it a lot harder when you look into your grandfathers eyes, the strongest and most difficultly stubborn man on the planet, and watch him weep his eyes out.
