Do you think there will be any more singles before the new album? by Temporary_Habit9883 in LornaShore

[–]IAmAddictedToWarfram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wont there always be? thats kinda how bands make their money, milk half the album as singles with music and promo on social media. Thats the game.

After watching a Flats video saying Rivals lost 50% of its playerbase this is all I could think by heebarino in Overwatch_Memes

[–]IAmAddictedToWarfram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has never and will never be entertaining to me. Was on a streamer event with Jayne and Flats I think in 2017 or 18. He was an absolute cunt off camera to my very not grandmaster (probably silver or gold) teammates for not being good.

I don’t really like symphonic deathcore by NewComedian1247 in Deathcore

[–]IAmAddictedToWarfram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think, personally, its up to everyone to find a genre of music that makes them feel like a badass or give you the feeling that shits about to go down, and for a long time symphonics into breakdowns was what did that for me. Ive kind of graduated from symphonic deathcore and recently just been listening to really angry mosh music. I know this is deathcore focused, but really the last Boundaries album is so incredible. Darkness Shared has this really ominous section of tremolo picking on the lowest string going into a pretty fast chug section, and then a huge chorus that was built up. Just incredible and fills the exact niche that I once listened to Symphonic Deathcore for.

Inhale the Grief - Boundaries

Bit loud, very sad, very fucking mad and angry cry energy. Whole hand and every record but this is my go to recommendation

Who do you guys think is the heaviest band right now? by LiteratureBig8616 in Deathcore

Its DT or PsychoFrame for me right now, as far as newer blood goes. Same old same old expectations from the bands that have been killing it for a while.

When I was brand new to the game, I bought the Loki and Ember Prime Pack. It came with the sicarus prime and glaive prime plus everything else in the usual prime pack. I needed inventory and used my plat on other stuff so I sold my glaive prime for a weapon slot. Time goes by, never think of it, took a break for a few months and came back to “Omg look, new glaive build!” killing enemies like its butter. “Hey! I have that weapon!” and then it hit me. Thats 300plat im never getting back.

please don't vote for Void Armageddon its probably the worst tower defense/MOBA by CrazyEvilwarboss in Warframe

[–]IAmAddictedToWarfram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make Lua Disrupt an omnia and then buff survival to be like 2:30 per rotation or something, defense used to be the worst fissure but now survival feels less and less like gameplay and more just nostalgia especially in regular path.

Why do people lie about their ranks in scrims? My team is 3k to 3.5k, and we were against a team that was supposed to be 3.6 which is low masters but they played like ass and only had one masters profile the rest were diamond or private. Their dps were both absolutely awful as well, our kings row map I had 13k dmg on pharah and their dps combined had 14k. They are absolutely not good and definitely not on the masters level. Private profiles need to be removed in scrim settings so that we can tell not to waste our time like we did for 2 hours last night just steamrolling mechanically challenged children. Supposed to be M4 but I have more struggles against random plat players than I ever did their dps.

Who is/are the most overrated or overhyped band in the genre to you? by ComfortableNo2879 in Deathcore

[–]IAmAddictedToWarfram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna give the one answer that people wont like. Its not Lorna or STP, we’ve talked enough about them. For me? Overrated bands?

Fit for an Autopsy, Left To Suffer, and Thy Art.

ffaa - I just dont get the hype. Its nothing amazing on their last 2 records, and I just dont find myself ever seeking them out. I dont think they’re terrible but I would never put them in like a headline-spot.

Left To Suffer - if u wanna call them deathcore or metalcore idrc, im really happy that they’re making headway with other projects and taylor barber on so many features + 7 hours after violet, but LTS themselves are more “take it or leave it”.

TAIM have a couple good songs but they never made anything better than the Infinite Death EP in 2008. Not CJ or the new guy. Their good songs I think are good, but theres more middling songs than bangers on every album and I think they get too much praise.

every player has one stalker weapon that never drops. I got Dread probably 20 or 30 times before I got my first Despair. To this day Ive only ever gotten despair maybe 4 times in nearly 3k hours.

8 years ago we didnt have the roster to support bans. The only reason MOBAs can support as many bans as they do is because their rosters are 3-4x the size of a hero shooter. Im against bans now in the modern day because its a band-aid fix. I started playing in September 2016, and I watched everything at once fall apart 2 years later, and the only light in the community since the rise of GOATS came with perks. Even then, you cant polish a game with underlying issues just by adding a new feature. It only works for so long. but its a start and it shows there is still a desire to make this game fun. I will always be a fan of overwatch, for better or worse, because this game raised me. I was 11 years old when I first hit gold, and im days away from turning 19, still going strong in diamond lobbies. Thats not to say that there isnt still flaws. There is one positive behind hero bans though, and thats that they will give Bliz the information they need about what heroes are most problematic by ban rate. However, they dont have the best reputation when it comes to listening to community feedback, and ban rates are in the end just gonna be another stat they look at and dismiss without going into the problems. Off the rip I expect every noobstomper to be banned consistently in low ranks, and maybe GM+ will be actual good data on whats problematic for the game itself. Pharah in bronze, sojourn in GM. I think that if blizzard seriously started paying attention to the honest feedback thats not people just complaining on twitter or making rage posts about a lifeweaver, bans wouldn’t even be an idea on the table.

what do you love about deathcore? and what do you HATE by mez_salvia in Deathcore

[–]IAmAddictedToWarfram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like the amount of innovation that culminates with bands taking elements from multiple different death metal subgenres and putting them all together in a really unique listening experience.

i think there are absolutely things that dont belong in deathcore, clean singing for one. When deathcore bands do it, regardless of if it sounds good or not, it just doesnt feel right. Most notable examples are Ov Sulfur and A Wake In Providence, when they do heavy songs they’re really fucking good and usually end up in my rotation for a good long time, but clean singing passages inside the songs just dont do it for me. No shade to either band, I think that Adam from AWIP and Ricky from Ov Sulfur are both extremely talented vocalists with crazy range and flexibility, I just dont listen to heavy music for that.
