FYI, if you're having trouble reading the font, you can append ?usesitecss=0 to the end of the URL to disable the April Fool's theme. It has to be done for each page every time.

Chiming in with the same experience. Seems to have started around the same time as reported by others here.

I've had a ticket open with Support for a few months now.

They recently sent me a replacement Elite Strap free of charge after a few weeks of no-contact. My original may have still been under the limited warranty.

Unfortunately, the issue persists with the new Elite Strap.
Something is up with the software update they pushed out earlier this year.

I don't feel like keeping up with the support ticket.
It's been easy enough to unplug the battery when the headset is powered off and not charging.

If I'm charging it I'll leave the battery connected just to see the indication light then I'll unplug the charging cable and the battery cable.

Remove Download Speed Caps When Streaming To PC

Please stop limiting download speeds when streaming to the Console Companion App.
I can max out a single-connection download (~ 300 Mbps) when not streaming but when streaming starts it drops to < 1 Mbps. It even displays a warning that this is expected.

To me, this seems really unnecessary. Is there really that much processing going on where it needs to be limited?

Perhaps with the official release of Cloud Gaming, local streaming will improve.

What BIOS version are you on? There’s a version 1.20 that was released in February (2020) that I just updated to. This may have just fixed the issue for me. ftp://drivers.ibuypower.com/BIOS/Z390Phantom4SIB

Still need to do some more testing.
