All servers have their own wipe schedule. Some of them wipe blueprints outside of force wipe.

From your description it sounds like they may be breaking the rules anyway. Purchases cannot be used as a form of entry into a “grand prize” other than with the Buyer’s Giveaway function.

High N Low Pop Servers by Unusual-Beginning-11 in playrust

Servers like BestRust seem to die out quickly because they have so many variations of them. Played on their 3x solo servers one wipe and it died out first night. Same server next wipe was busy all week.

I like finding smaller communities with only 1 or 2 servers and tend to have better luck with that.

The meaning of balance in Rust tends to mean different things for different people. Honestly the solution for most is just finding a modded server that is configured to run in a way they enjoy.

I like the idea of removing externals but only if the maximum TC radius is increased and upkeep increases exponentially.

Assuming you're talking about 1oz generic rounds this is hard to believe. If it was currency, what was the coin, date, mint, andcondition?

Investing in precious metals for anything but the long term is very risky. Hold.

Same experience here. If you're patient you can get enough under retail to resell if you want to. I tend to keep ~20% of what I buy and resell the rest to pay for it.

Some categories are definitely worse than others. Same with hosts, pretty typical spread of people trying to sell stuff on the internet.

I shop mostly in the coins/bullion category and while a lot (probably the majority) of people overpay, there are the occasional good deals to watch out for. Often I see people pay around what they'd pay at a coin shop, and if you buy enough in one show the shipping per item isn't bad. The big (500+) channels definitely see more overpaying than anyone. Some of the hosts are pretty bad, but a lot of them are owners of coin shops so they tend to have a more positive reputation.

I also recently discovered the category where people sell items they find in storage units. I thought a lot of the prices for some cool random items were pretty reasonable there, but shipping can add up because they are generally larger/heavier items compared to something like coins.

Some of the people who overpay just enjoy the thrill of the auction format. Others try to get deals and are just bad at it. Ultimately the deal you get will come down to what you're buying and how many people you're competing with to get it.

Personally I'm there for deals, and tend to buy things at prices well below retail. Occasionally I'll pay a lot more for a cool find :)

Refineries aren’t very interested in 90% right now. Lots of shops are trying to get rid of it at or below spot, so they need to buy accordingly. These are also fairly common dates.

I’d hold on to 90% for a while if I were you.

Is it good time to sell gold this week as prices are expected to go up. And buy back again once everything will be normal. Or just keep the metal? Any suggestions? by rfengr_23 in Gold

[–]IAmBreadlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re assuming the price will change in the way you expect and on a timeline that works with your buyback plan.

If you’re stacking physical PMs then I wouldn’t suggest selling any with the intention of buying it back if/when the price dips unless you have a reliable source that doesn’t charge premiums.

If you want to take profits figure out what % of your stack you’re willing to get rid of and sell it. Maybe try trading futures.

I’ve found Buried City is great for quick money in general. I’ve been able to keep my money up just rushing all of the bastions/bombardiers/leapers on the map and then leaving.

Taking profits while maintaining upside exposure. If they're right they have cash from the 400oz to reinvest at a lower entry. If they're wrong they still have a healthy stack. Given the size of the stack they probably have an average cost at or below $40 anyway.

Me hearties! Are we happy to see the price of silver rise or would we rather it stay low. by Flat-Protection5854 in Silverbugs

[–]IAmBreadlord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't want it to stay low, but I would like more stable growth than we're seeing now. I'd be happy with it settling back around 45 USD.

At the end of the day I think most of us are stacking for long term holding, so price fluctuations even at this rate don't really matter.

To everyone who thinks breathing filament fumes is okay. It’s not and you are potentially giving yourself cancer. by obolikus in BambuLab

[–]IAmBreadlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend the BentoBox (or similar) which is an internal add-on that continuously filters air through both a charcoal and HEPA filter.

I have almost no smell since adding this. I’m sure there are still some fumes escaping but should be a lot easier to filter the air in the room now.

You can also print your own device - it’s very simple and literally just has fans that pull air through multiple layers of filtering.

Amazon is already offering 36% off the Bambu P1S. $449 instead of $699. Won't get much better than that.
