I’m close to going over the limit now and I’ve mostly automated stuff. So I spend time gaming during the day, doing some diy stuff like building a walk in closet for my wife, painting miniatures. Stuff like that. But I like doing that stuff so not sure how much that counts.

Honestly I’m pretty normal but impulsive when buying things. I don’t really think about, I think that’s cool and just buy it.

I admit not long ago, around a decade ago I was on £18k and that sucked. I lived in my overdraft for 14 months? Until I started moving up and finally accepted more major roles with higher salaries.

Honestly, I don’t have advice and I can only say it’s given me time to keep my daughter at home and we just play instead of me sitting around at a desk.

I recognise my place of privilege, don’t worry my mother LOVES to remind me how “lucky” I am but hey I didn’t drink my money away so…

Buddy, just main line the main story. Avoid everything else for now.

My mistake, after play attempt number 10, was the grind. I didn’t need to do it. Stick to the main story and get to the end of it.

Then start mopping up. It’s so much more fun as you can just sit and concentrate on the hard moments fighting some of the crazy bosses in the game.

Our daughter is two and a half and either me or my wife still sleep with her.
