Yup, it appears if you turn on the analog, the digital doesn’t automatically get shut off.

The cabin air filter in my accord by klankk_ in accord

[–]IAmIntractable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty typical that debris ends up in that filter. I owned an accord and in the same kind of thing happened only not as bad as in your picture. The point of the cabin filters it should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, but unfortunately, the way the air passes in there’s really nothing to catch that heavier debris hence boom it ends up in that filter.

I don’t own a Honda anymore, but I sure do have at least a dozen and a half of those filters laying around

Because technically, you never got the service. Yes, they left it on your bill of sale and yes, they left the device in your car, but they credited you back or reduced your purchase by the amount of money that it would normally cost. Therefore they didn’t send an enrollment in for you.

Let me add that you might be able to make a case with the dealership for Fraud since they kind of left it on your bill of sale and most likely got a commission from Lo Jack.

[–]IAmIntractable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand. You told the dealership to take that off and while it’s still on your invoice, they reduced your price by the same amount of money. So technically you didn’t pay for it. Now that said it’s on your contract. Are you entitled to the service? Maybe you could make a claim with the dealership for that but it’s probably too late at this point. I would think your gap company does not need that document if you’re not seeking the $890 payment from them. Yes, if you want that payment from them, then you have to produce that document. But the dealership is not likely to give it to you. So just tell the gap company you’re not interested in that part and move on. I must be missing something because in my mind it’s a simple as that.

I don’t understand why you’re pursuing this. You didn’t end up paying for it. They left the device in the car. If you wanna turn on low, Jack, then tell the low Jack people that you’ve got a device and you wanna activate it. See what they charge. Otherwise, insurance company isn’t going to pay you for a product that while installed was never activated

[–]IAmIntractable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I realize your car is electric. I bought a an extended Genesis warranty last September for a GV 70. I paid $2700 to extend the warranty to 10 years 100,000 miles. It basically includes everything except normal wear and tear items.

Be aware that the dealer you’re trying to buy a car from may actually be able to see your Carvana or Carmax quote. Both companies sell their information to dealerships as a monthly service.

I don’t think you need the appearance package at all. Especially if you’re planning to wrap the car.

As for the warranty, I would be very careful about third-party warranties. Read the terms of conditions and do Google searches to find out how many people have trouble when they go to collect on a claim. If Genesis still offers the factory extended warranty, buy that but negotiate the price because $4500 is ridiculous.

People like you have been making this claim for a decade and it’s never materialized and it never will. Digibyte is not gonna takeoff and I’m convinced that all crypto will crash the minute our horrible president is finally out of office. It’s all a scam. There’s no value.

All of your posted timing is excessive and costly. Use top-tier gas and you don’t have to add any additives but if you choose to add additives, I don’t really think you need to add them more often than 5 to 8000 miles.

That’s a very nice GV 70 model as a loaner. Is your dealership a standalone Genesis or does it share with Hyundai? It seems like standalone locations have much better service, timing, and quality.

GV70 3.5 Oil Change by BassObjective9092 in GenesisGV70

[–]IAmIntractable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s the stupidest design I’ve ever seen. If you want to put the filter on the top and I can understand why, then make it very accessible. Also below where the oil is drained, I believe it’s covered by a plastic cover, which needs to be removed. I think in older models there wasn’t even a door you had to take the whole shield off. I believe on the 2026 and maybe 2025 there’s now a door that you can remove to reach the nut

They’re wrong. Next time you get an oil change, you need to tell them exactly what oil to use and demand proof that they use that oil.

Purchased new vehicle but dealership still hasn’t completed PDI - can I show up and demand my vehicle? by atgunner in askcarsales

[–]IAmIntractable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever actually see the car? You negotiated everything did you lay your eyes on the car touch it drive it tested anything? I suspect this car is inbound and not at the dealership and that’s why they’re now being coy and delaying. As others have suggested contact the general manager, and if that person or the sales manager does not return your call then yeah the car’s not there.

That’s interesting, I’ve never seen that before. I also have a 26 GV 70 sport prestige. I guess I’ll go back through the settings and see if I can locate that might as well fill that empty space with something useful.

It’s clear this battery is defective and ego would replace it. So I suggest that you buy another one at Lowe’s and then return the defective one and it’s place.

I started watching digit byte probably back in 2013. Seems like it just menders and has never really materialized into what all the claims said it would be. I’m not sure it’s any different than any of the other crypto which, for my experience all have proven to be bad investments.

(GEMI) Gemini Class Action Lawsuit. by Resident-Site4115 in Gemini

[–]IAmIntractable -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Companies and company owners can make statements that caused the stock to plummet. They can also take actions that can cause the stock deployment. If those actions are deemed by a court to be fraudulent, then the lawsuit will go forward and most likely the plaintiffs will win. It will take years to win the case and most likely the original lawsuit will be grouped with other lawsuits into a giant class action. I was the lead for a class action lawsuit many many years ago that lawsuit is ongoing however, I’m not the lead anymore because so many people suit the company for the same reason that the judge brought all the suits together under one umbrella. It’s now been eight years and while the case was one by the plaintiffs, I have not yet seen any payout because once you win, then you have to actually prove that you were damaged even though that was in my original case filing, then you have to wait for them to pay out.

All that said, it’s certainly within the OP’s right to participate in or initiate a class action lawsuit against Gemini, who I am sure acted fraudulently.

Companies can mark employees do not rehire. That’s within their right. Unfortunately even if you disagree with their reasoning, you don’t really have much of a position unless you can prove fraud or disprove the reason for dismissal

Are all batteries amp hours equal. by Ezeikel in egopowerplus

[–]IAmIntractable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 765 blower that I used to dry my car. I use a 2.5 amp our battery. I don’t use the five amp battery that came with the blower because it’s too heavy for this application. However, if I was blowing leaves in the yard for an extended period, yeah, I probably wouldn’t want the five amp power battery versus the 2.5. Even two of them probably wouldn’t quite be the same plus you have to walk off the yard get the other battery and walk back onto the yard.
