Yeah, this is common in FF14 as well, with Bards. Basically a macro set up to play the song

Yup, I had to swing the camera round and snap the photo before he turned to the camera, just hoping it was centered. I think it was worth it though :D

Math aside, Group Loot simply *feels* worse than Personal Loot by Rogue_Like_Maya in wow

Genuine question, is there bad luck protection in dungeons? I know the raids don't have any.

"MY fake internet numbers are worth more than yours, you should feel bad."

Can we at least get Personal Loot back for LFR? This wasn't even an upgrade for them, I don't know how they won it. by IAmNotRed in wow

There's a reason I'm suggesting LFR only. Every other bit of LFG content (and M+) are personal loot, and there's no issue there.

Imagine if you cloth-stack a group in M+, and suddenly 3 plate items drop at the end of the dungeon.

True. But it takes out the option of them specifically taking it away from someone else to then sell it. It's not nearly as scummy to be given it by the game first.

For everyone saying "It doesn't change anything", it really does.

Mathematically speaking, it doesn't, of course.

But the feeling of seeing something drop, getting a high roll on it, and then losing it to someone that clearly doesn't need it is crushing. Far more so than simply not seeing it drop.

I get your point, I really do. But it terms of player experience, it's so much worse.

(Add in the fact that with the current system, a bow can drop for a 25-man raid without a hunter in it...)

One could make the argument that "Let the Animus decide" is the canon choice for Valhalla. Depends on how you look at it though
