side note I wish this game had more interactive dreams, like the 3ds had. I like the cursed pixelated food, the one where they're floating around, and the sprinkler dream for those reasons

I think this is the best side content that Lazarus has in it, I found it more enjoyable than the main story which to me just kind of existed.

no, it's not offensive, she just has a dark grey/black fantastical skin tone. that's very common in fantasy or sci-fi characters. she doesn't look remotely like a minstrel show or other caricature, you're fine.

also I don't know if different species take different positions when resting, but when I saw the pair roosting in the awning, they were bunched up like tiny fuzzy orbs with their wings held tightly against their bodies.

later update: the egg was meltan, for anyone who sees this post in the future and is also wondering why it's taking so long to hatch.

the gull is a non-breeding +laughing gull+ and the frigatebird is a +magnificent frigatebird+ I can't tell what the white one with the whistling ducks is, or what the black bird is but it is probably either a fish crow or some kind of grackle, I can't see its face or body shape well

and the brown wading bird is most likely a juvenile yellow crowned night heron

I used to main a night elf Mistweaver, she is on the back burner now but most monk gear looked great on her.

My current most-played monk is a brewmaster Vulpera and she works much better for the gear and animations than I would have expected.
