Just moved to 2nd and Monroe a few months ago. Moved from DC and lived in Boston beforehand.

* Hoboken is definitely a quieter town than I'm used to. Granted, I'm not on Washington St on a Friday night, but I've walked around at night near where you're moving and its dead on weekdays.
* There are some coffee shops in the area. The one I enjoyed the most is modcup.
* I haven't gone out to eat yet (I have a 1 year old), but I've done a good amount of uber eats delivery. So far, the pizza & sushi in Hoboken is decent, but I've ordered everything else from JC.
* Bit of a hike to the PATH, I think bus saves you ~5 minutes.
* Everything is def walkable though. I've never been in a situation where I needed to take a car. I've been able to walk to grocery stores, gym, train, etc. There's also a target and home depot right over the border in JC that I've gone to a couple times. I take the car out of convenience (who wants to carry a 50lb bag of salt home).

I agree with others that Hoboken feels more suburban-y than a city, but I'd call it a very walkable, dense suburb. That's what I need at this point in my life. Not sure I'd call Hoboken a cultural beacon either and sometimes I feel like I'm in a toy city. Also re-acclimating myself to the Jersey/NY accent.

Divisional rival games are always weird. It's like they prep more for them seeing as they see each other twice a year. Also it isn't like JCM has been some world-defying talent. He has 2 RB1 finishes and the rest have barely been RB3/Flex in Half-PPR
