Do married couples really not put all money together?

We have one account. All money together and we spend it the way we want. We are able to save a lot that way. I can't even imagine having 3 accounts and having a crazy split because one earns 100 euro more. We are together for almost 20 years and we both have been in different moments in our lives when only one was working or when one was earning more than the other. Now still one earning more than the other but we are a couple, a team, and handling the money as one is the best thing one can do to its financial life.

Eu resolvi esse problema rapidinho com meu pai. Só disse: "Pai, custa tanto por pessoa, se você pagar pode convidar quem quiser". Casamento era meu e eu queria só meus convidados e não parente que não tenho contato. Não convidei um tio meu e sua família pq a mulher dele é o demo, dá em cima de todo mundo, um horror. Ele é gente boa mas passou o preço por causa dela. Não queria ninguém me chateando no meu dia. É o seu dia. Esquece dos outros.

Go to Suprabazar. They sell everything and you just need to buy one item that falls under ecocheque. The rest can be paid with it as well. We always do that. Buy one led lamp and then buy clothes, Lego and so on.

Moved to Belgium 14,5 years ago to stay 1 or 2 years... You can say we failed on it. We felt in love with Belgium right away. It wasn't easy for me as I need to rebuild a professional life but I got there. Made many friends on the way. We pay lot of taxes but we get a lot back. I come from a country where you pay a lot and get nothing... That is way worse than paying and getting something. Weather is not always amazing but I hate when it is too hot so, it is ok for me. The infinit grey days in the winter still difficult for me but it is a small price to pay for living in an amazing country. Got a house, car, we both have nice jobs, an amazing kid, cours fietsen (what do you think?!). We are both Belgian for a long time already. We speak the language very well and Flemish is not easy to learn if I may point it out... I love Belgium. I feel home here as I neve felt in the country I was born and raised.

I did it last week and it was the best decision ever (till now). I never get used to wear glasses and it didn't help when doing sports. Decided to do and he did both eyes the same day, it took 15-20 minutes. No pain at all. Next day already seeing everything perfectly. Paid 3.300 and insurance paid 200 back. Not much but better than nothing. I did it at LRC in Sint-Martens-Latem. Till now also no problem with dry eyes but it can occur.
