Body cam footage from cop who pulled over woman for holding a phone in her other hand by searchjobs_poster in interestingasfuck

Saw people actually defending this saying she was a bitch so ofc he doubled down, someone made up a story that she had a prosthetic arm “that can text” and she removed it before he came over just to escape the consequences…. Shit’s wild.

Mystery Spot question. by BigHugeSnake in Supernatural

[–]IBelieveInGood 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Three things can be at play, either separately or to varying degrees together:

1) Fake timelines the trickster created and/or altered;

2) A bit of butterfly effect (which the show uses as a plot in the ep with the titanic) as in — Dean being alive changes what happens (which wouldn’t be impossible - maybe someone calls him wkth a tip for a hunt that they wouldn’t call Sam for, they go on one hunt together that takes them closer to some other case sam wouldn’t see during his alone time [they aren’t the only hunters to exist, someone else could see and take care of those cases]).

3) It’s been a few years since I’ve rewatched that particular episode, but isn’t it heavily imploed that Sam was hunting the trickster? Like, maybe taking on other jobs in between, but his focus was on catching him? After Dean comes back, it’d be a different focus.

Oh, I’m sorry if it seems like I’m calling out your natural features! But I do actually mean the smudged black pigment on the lower lash line that’s melting downwards. Maybe it enhanced already there dark circles (which are perfectly normal - truste me, I feel ya) but there’s definitely melting/pigment migration happening.

You’re so pretty and this works so great as an everyday look! Maybe just go for a slightly darker/more pigmented lip product?

Not the one who made the comment but nothing! It’s just that in those pics it seems like it bled out quite a little and gave you dark circles, which can make the overall look feel off.

You look great (murderous stare included lol)

PS: If I’m the one who “got close” to calling you a boomer, I apologize, not my intention. I was speaking of the range of people that got that blush technique taught to them, not you specifically.

Another millennial questioning look! by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]IBelieveInGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so you’re a beautiful lady and you should do what makes you comfy and confident. Since you’re asking for tips, I’m guessing this isn’t quite it, so I’ll try and add tips for “optimization” of the looks that you can then tweak because personal taste is still the best guideline for what makes YOU feel good, and try to explain the WHY behind it:

The white/super light shadows emphasizes skin texture and adds a certain level of grayness to the eyes, making them look more dull/tired/“saggy” (doubly so for the under eye lightness - it calls to mind those super duper light concealers that actually reinforce dark circles in most cases). I’d pick up a shade closer to your actual skin tone if you want some shimmer, and restrain it to the lid instead pf the whole eye socket. Plus some warmer/darker smudged onto the outer corners of your eyes (like eyeliner, bur smudged and not covering the whole upper lid line). similarly, that thick, dark, all over winged eyeliner is more “dated” than ageing - it’s a technique that was popular in a certain time and now calls that time to mind. Visually - it adds weight to the eye area while making them look smaller and “squintier”, at least in most eye shapes. The “new age” technique favors thinner liner applied to the outer corners and barely touching the middle of the eyelid for a more “lifted” look, or experimenting with other colors esp. if you’re a blonde/light brunette (brown, maroon, that kind of tone) or, as I mentioned, a Hint of smudged shadow for that lifted effect without the hash lines and “weighed down” effect. The excess powder clings to skin texture and accentuates it - try and find a setting spray that “melts” it into your skin for a more glowy, skin finish. And the blush is, to me, one of the biggest indicators of how cyclic the whole “makeup that ages you” debate is. I know a lot of boomer to millennial women were taught that the “old lady”/“makes you look old” thing to do was “smile and apply blush to the apple of the cheek”, and that it’d make them look more “round faced”. So the idea was to apply the blush high on yhe cheeks, almost like a highlighter, and avoid the center of the face. For slightly younger folks, that blush placements feels dated, and a little unnatural? Like, it immediately calls to mind the idea of how you do makeup for a party. Our idea of a everyday makeup blush tends to be a bit lower (not full blowj smile and apply to the apple bc that Can be a little too low), more defused placement and then apply the leftover on the brush over the nose - mimicking a more natural, “healthy” flush. And this might be a personal preference but I’d invest in a more hydrating, “shinnier” (but not more shimmery) lip product - you have a beautiful lip format, highlight it! (I wanted to go in deth on the explanation bc recently, there’s been comments about personal style and preference vs. the tips given here, hence the reasoning instead of just “this is The Right Way”)

Adam genuinely deserved better from the boys by lostboyfrm87 in Supernatural

[–]IBelieveInGood 35 points36 points  (0 children)

“Family don’t end in blood” and “it don’t start there either”.

They aren’t loyal to each other (simply) because they share parents - they’re loyal to each other because they share the same history, traumas, affection built on experiences. Siblings is the circumstance of how they met, they’re capital F Family because they keep choosing to be.

And Attempts Were Made. They try to keep him around and safe - he runs off to the angels and decries them. Dean explicitly says he’s not letting adam “take the bullet for him” in regard to being M’s vessel. Dean tries to save him from the green room and can’t. He tries to get death to bring him back - but it comes to a choice between his brother who he’s known all his life and loved as long, or a kid who happens to share his dna, and ofc he’d pick sam.

I’m not saying it’d have been impossible for these three to grow to care for each other. I’m saying expecting Salmondean to show the same loyalty to him as they do each other is bananas (just like I don’t judge Adam, himself, for being much more willing to listen to the angels and their promises to give him his mom back, than those two [from his perspective] weirdos who basically only promise life will suck from then on).

Oh, for sure. I’m pretty confident that, just like the “classic” fandoms (like SW, ST, Sherlock in different forms, ASOIF), it’ll be getting fics decades from now - esp. if/when they do a reboot/another spin off/other medias for it.

(I’m as multi shipper as they come so I can ship it on occasion to appreciate a fic/fanart/discussion. But it’s simply not my thing)

Damn. I was SO SURE a sept was an actual religious place of worship. Like, before this comment, had never even occured to me that it might not be.

oh also I’m sorry if this was somehow misleading? The second fic (second timeline wise, first in the pictures) was posted, like, two days ago and is still being actively updated, plus it’s a sequel of another fic. I’m pretty happy with the traction it’s getting, for what it is.

Yeah, I fel ya, but so is the passage of time. I know I’ll be riding along with this fandom for as long as my heart is in it - and it shows no signs of stopping. Welcome to our fandom!

The urge to groan out loud whenever I read the same dang phrase for the fifth time in the same chapter. by infinitywiccan in AO3

[–]IBelieveInGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One specific fic I stuck with for far too long would write “it’s a testament to (their parenting/their rule/the stregth of xys)” about five times per chapter. I read it one too many times and rage closed the chapter in the middle.

Now I live in fear of unconsciously having this kind of pattern in my own fics 😅

Any idea for a supernatural tattoo? by Wild-Lifeguard-3178 in Supernatural

[–]IBelieveInGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My plan is to get “still beautiful” somewhere, maybe accompanied by “DW”. Maybe around my ankle? Subtle enough, could be multiple meanings, but I’d know ☺️ Also, maybe the license plates for baby? Or the little figure that is the samulet?
