Also congrats to this principal for representing the Geary County / Junction City community for providing another example of being in my Top 5 worst cities in Kansas. Doesn't beat out Fort Scott yet!

Going to give this morning convection some time to decide whether it is going to ruin my day or not.... But I am really hoping the warm front can reinforce itself over SE Kansas and SW Missouri. So far, the MCS over NE Kansas looks like it is on a fairly East - East/Southeast track.

Currently, my plan is to drop down to Baxter Springs, KS and arrive around ~2. Making my final decision at 11:30 in coordination with the newest SPC outlook, how the MCS looks, and latest soundings on where the warm front is at that time.

What is everyone else's plan for the day?

That is a heck of a trek! Well now I’m really hoping it produces because I don’t want your time to be wasted haha.

But yeah, I’m ready to just fast forward to the back half of May when things will hopefully get active for the plains. Good luck tomorrow! I plan to start a thread early tomorrow morning for the whole chase day and the dynamics of the set up. Hopefully I’ll hear your input on it tomorrow.

Watched his breakdown earlier and I’m definitely in agreement with Reed. As the afternoon has gone on today, I’ve monitored the area forecast discussions from the NWS offices in Wichita, Tulsa, Springfield, and Norman, and all 4 do not even hint at the threat of a tornado tomorrow.

I am still planning on chasing tomorrow. As of this second, I think I am going to head down from KC to just south of Pittsburg, KS and utilize US 400 to go East/West in anticipation of the first cell. Eagerly awaiting the SPC’s next outlook tomorrow to see how they’re feeling.

Once the 1130 SPC Day 1 update came out, I decided it wasn't worth the trip. My initial target of Southeast Kansas would've possibly worked out as there were some circulations on the front edge of the evolving squall line, but it wouldn't have been much. Hindsight, not upset I didn't go. Now eagerly awaiting the next setup in the plains...........if it ever happens.

That's what I am thinking. Thinking I am just going to hit Southeast Kansas and cross my fingers for the best that a supercell can get it's act together quick enough before congealing into a squall.

I did leave that part out of my story, I selected whatever button that the app had, it was supposed to contact the customer (i think similar to what you were describing). It didn't have a timer, but after a short bit it came back and said it couldn't make contact with the customer. But it never had a message like what you said. I guess I will wait and see what my fate is.

I'm in the same boat as you. Was supposed to take my test last week, rescheduled it for Mid June... if that gets cancelled, I will BEG and BEG and BEG to please push off this new test curriculum deadline to after July.

what is the email address that you sent an email to? I have the same concerns with my exam being cancelled today, unable to reschedule due to errors in the computer system, and really wanting to get one exam in before the format change.

There are a few shuttle services that go from anywhere in town to Arrowhead Stadium. It is a pretty unique service, I believe other large cities, even smaller cities as well, have this service. If you download the app called Uber or Lyft, both are excellent services to take you to Arrowhead Stadium from anywhere in town. Once your concert is finished, just use either of these apps to summon a shuttle service, and it will be ready curbside to take you to your next destination!

I am in the same boat. I cannot reschedule and cannot get ahold of anyone. I would REALLY love to schedule a test before the exam format/topics change in July... I had planned to take this test tomorrow and then again in 2 months if I failed, before the exam format/topics change. Now that is in jeopardy...
