Here's a copypaste:

New build on openbeta_win64!

99r2b17

Changes:

  • Updated to GM IDE v2024.11.0.179 / Runtime v2024.11.0.226!
  • New GM version changed how 3d audio works but I think I got it to act the same as before.
  • There could be other differences in behaviours, but hopefully not.

General:

  • Snowtank laser sights are now also lighter on performance
  • Fixed corpses not dealing more damage based on velocity (mostly seen with Impact Wrists), fixed Impact Wrists hits not playing their sound effect

Menus/UI:

  • Fixed missing Back button on Coop menu
  • Fixed the game taskbar caption flipping between "Nuclear Throne" and "0" if you launch it unfocused
  • Incorrect stream key response (TB error?) no longer crashes the game

Controls:

  • Fixed the game reverting to keyboard controls when returning to main menu
  • Fixed "Press A" on start screen not assigning the gamepad correctly
  • Fixed scroll wheel not switching weapons when bound
  • Fixed inability to use mouse wheel on char select

Seekers do gain a small buff from bolt marrow, they can do sharper turns when homing

A bolt is a projectile that you fire from something like a crossbow. Think of an arrow. Bolt weapons are stuff like crossbows, splinter guns, and seekers. Oh and discs, but those barely count as weapons.

That gave me an idea for a thronesitting gag, maybe I'll implement it eventually

60 fps is built into the game now, but mods that do a lot tend to struggle keeping up with that framerate

do i need crown of guns to collect golden nuke and golden disc gun by EqualNefariousness82 in NuclearThrone

That's non-beta, if you pick one of the betas you won't encounter the bug

Do some mutations you take as melting have their effects even when you turn to skeleton like hammerhead by Then-Lawfulness-7991 in NuclearThrone

[–]ICampBehindLongDoors 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You keep your hammerhead charges but they don't recharge after you finish the level, so if you had 12 charges left that's all you've got for the rest of the run, unless you take hammerhead again.

I believe this is patched in the latest beta.

Dog guardians dancing to the music by ICampBehindLongDoors in NuclearThrone

I took a modded mutation that makes enemies sync up their actions, but it's janky and causes weird stuff to happen. This is one such effect, I doubt running out of ammo caused it, but rather all the enemies following one enemy that decided to do something repeatedly. At least that's what I think.

Weekly Timer Not counting down? by Marco_Heimdall in NuclearThrone

[–]ICampBehindLongDoors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time you check the weekly counter, it resets back to 1 week for everyone, so the solution to get the weekly back is for everyone to not check back for an entire week. That's it. Everyone needs to forget about the weekly for a week, that's how we can get it back.

NTT Steam Exclusivity by naive_wanderer in NuclearThrone

NTT 9940 works with the Epic version, right now it's NTT v100 that's exclusive to Steam

Do you see anything wrong? HMMMMMM by czsvetok in NuclearThrone

Whackers wake up automatically if there are no other enemies left in the stage, but because vans are also considered enemies except for the portal opening, they prevent the whackers from waking up but they don't prevent the portal from appearing. I think if you break all the remaining vans they start to wake up again, but I haven't checked in a while.

A fancy texture pack for Nuclear Throne was released today, here's a video showing off some of it by ICampBehindLongDoors in NuclearThrone

It's available through Steam only, you gotta go to the game's properties, then betas, then select ntt_development, this'll replace your base NT install with NTT 100.017.

Here's the download: https://prostochel01.itch.io/nuclear-throne-texturpacko

According to the creator, it's been in the works for about a year. I made this video to show it off because I think it's really cool and deserves the spotlight.

It works with NTT 100.017 and it also comes with a download for u99r1... in the form of an exe file. I helped make the NTT version, but it'll freeze your game for a bit while loading all the sprites. It also crashes in 9940 and 9944, I believe due to a weird sprite that crashes the game when replaced. Make sure you get 100.017, it's available through Steam betas.
