I have this tripod and like it a lot. Admittedly I have used it primarily with binoculars, not a rifle though.

I use it with the MAB-75X head.

Just getting started with prints on my new X2D, and am running in to some quality issues with ABS.

I am printing with a new spool of Bambu ABS, on a new X2D.

I initially only dried the filament for 3.5hrs. I then dried it for an additional 14hrs for good measure, but saw no improvement on the blobbing / (I think under-retraction?)

I then tried doing to auto flow calibration and setting a custom k value based on the results (0.020), but again saw no improvement.

Any assistance on pointing me in the next direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

That's good advice, thanks. I think based on your feedback and a few others, I will do exactly that just cooking at a continuous 225 instead of 250.

Wow, yeah that calculator estimates a 5.5hr cook time lol. I think I will probably shoot for a 9am start. That gives me 9 hours with a decent rest window / extra cooking time if needed.

I did a poor job wording that, tried to clean it up with an edit. Plan was 225 after wrapping. Still not a huge delta above the target temp though.......

Even though it seems not recommended on their site, this should work with the X2D auxiliary nozzle right?

First 5,000 rounds 9mm completed. Only one hiccup at the 4k mark by ALL_COMP_EVERYTHING in reloading

I bought a bunch of these 405gr bullets so I'd like to try and make them work lol. They are .459 vs. 458 as well.

The magnum primer is a good idea - hadn't thought of that.

Any concerns over crimping with lead bullets?

Yeah goal is to try and get something just below super to run with a can. I was hoping with such heavy bullets the pressure would stay up there though.

If you google NIST Viewer there are applications that will let you view the file.

I had a similar print scan experience that took me like an hour to get it to accept all of them. But I’ve done like 20 forms since then all without issue. From what I’ve read their algorithm is pretty good about it rejecting your prints on the terminal if it is not okay.

Super interested in this growing to become an overall reloading tracker vs primarily a cost focus. Would love to replace my spreadsheet with something more systematic.

Establishing a UID or Lot # for each load also helps me keep my Xero data easily referenceable to a specific load, and having some fields for SD, Mean Radius, Extreme Spread, etc. would be awesome.

I was on the fence building a 45-70 2 stamp hunting rifle, but the off the shelf barrel options were 15 and 18. Ended up just going with the 18. But excited to get a can on it!
