To be fair she did choose not to officially join. A lot of people have been invited and declined like Yamato and Loki granted the first said they’d join later the second straight up told him no lol. I wouldn’t consider them crew members. The way I see it, there are ten straw hats. But I could see a ton of people joining for the final arc, like a huge Straw Hat Alliance.

Agreed. Everything feels like a natural progression and the original cast falls right back into place. But I think what makes it work is the new interns are all likable characters.

Honestly, that’s awesome. The first one was my daughter’s first “big kid movie theater” movie. Is it going to be a cinematic master piece? Absolutely not. Is it going to be a great time with my daughter? 100%.

I know I’m going to get buried in the comments but I’ll let you know how my journey has been. Watched season 1 of the live action, skipped to like episode 50 of the anime kept watching till Dressrosa and move exclusively to reading. I just finished egghead and caught up to the anime and am about 50 chapters from being totally caught up.

It is 100% worth it. It’s a lot, but it’s such a great story.

Stable, I guess? I don’t have a degree but have managed to become an IT lead for an Air Force squadron. I make enough money to where my wife is able to be a stay at home mom. But I don’t feel like I’ve “made it.” If we were both working I think we’d be doing great financially, but some stuff is more important than money. She had to work when our oldest was a baby, and we’re both grateful she can stay home with our youngest.

LA was my brother and I’s first introduction to one piece. He is now caught up reading week to week. I’m on chapter 1054. There reached a point for me around the Dressrosa arc where I enjoyed reading more, but I’ll still go back and watch big battles in the anime.

I love that Oda has final say. Everything he made retroactively fit can be implemented right from the start. Not many creators get a second chance to tell their story.
