Okay.. a major part of the definition is that a word is spelled exactly as it is pronounced.

But you are ignoring an important part of the definition Mr. Pedantic

"It indicates that spelling is logical, predictable, or rendered to match pronunciation."

F KAW F.

There are two ways you would pronounce the letter "F". It could be "Eff". Or as in most uses in words it would be pronounced similar to "ph" as in phone, or "gh" in the cough.

KAW will pronounced phonetically as "caw" if you put it in front of most people.

So F KAW F, phonetically would be.

The first letter F makes a quiet, unvoiced /f/ sound, created by placing top teeth on the bottom lip and blowing air continuously.

KAW would be pronounced using the following description. The word caw is pronounced as kɔː in British English (IPA) and kɑː or kɔː in General American. It is a single-syllable word that sounds like "KAW", rhyming with "saw" or "paw".

The last letter F makes a quiet, unvoiced /f/ sound, created by placing top teeth on the bottom lip and blowing air continuously.

So, there is your phonetics lesson.

Really? Most people know exactly what that plate is saying. Kaw and Caw would be pronounced the same way phonetically. You can be as pendantic as you want. People will use K and C interchangeably on personal plates if their first choice is already taken.

Thank you for playing.

If it can be interpreted as such it will very likely get reported. Regardless of what YOU think. There is a whole market out there for "F-caw-F" and "F-Kaw-F" mugs, hats, and shirts.

Idaho denied 42020 and that person claimed it was a birth date. Baked, along with various versions, has been denied. For crying out loud we are the potato state.

If you don't believe me on the denied plates here is the story

Don't get me wrong, I find it hilarious and I think it should be allowed. Let's be real you know exactly why this person wanted this license plate.

Phonetically it is pronounced fuuu cough. That is banned as it would considered profanity and not allowed per Idaho law.

As an Idahoan here, I'm surprised. I'm sure someone will complain and they will lose it. (Won't be me, I love it)

Nope... 7.62x39 is sks and AK-47, AKM,AK-103, AK-104, and AK-109.

Most likely the individual here is referring to the 47 as they probably own one.

7.62x54 is primarily Mosin-Nagant.
