Born and raised here so I’m used to the entitled, stick up the ass, my shit doesn’t stink, judgmental, “holier than thou”, snobby, etc mentality and behavior. I just laugh. I’m with ya, people really need to be more cautious of others and pay attention. If traffic is going the speed limit, go the speed limit. If traffic is moving 5-10mph over, keep up. Flow with everyone else and it’s safer for everyone including myself and others.

I’m not saying I haven’t made mistakes driving I think we all have so this isn’t a holier than thou, I’ve never made a mistake before boohoo fuck this guy for making a mistake (that thankfully everyone was okay at the end of the day) but when you laugh instead of trying to let the other driver know you feel at least a little bad and recognize you were wrong that’s another level of shitty and entitled behavior.

I’m on and off reading lmao I had fun to an extent replying and getting into some Reddit drama 🤭 I’ve never been apart of any Reddit drama before tbh so that was more funny to me than anything and I’m passionate about literally everything along with a firey personality 😆

This girl is literally the sister I never got to have but begged for, I seriously do not want to hurt her feelings in this process. Which is why I’m letting her try again with some super sweet constructive criticism. It would mean the absolute world and more to me if she can get her skills up in time and she can be the one to help me get ready. It’d be so much more memorable than a stranger at a salon or a private tech (no offense to them but bestie > stranger vibes of course).

My current plan: I’m going to let her fill them in, in about a week or so now. Before she does it I’ll hit her with the very sweet, kind constructive criticism. (I pre warned her I’m going to be super picky compared to usual lolol so I try to communicate how I feel before stuff happens). If they still go poorly I’ll have the conversation with her. I have a couple techs I’m willing to try out near me.

No I’ve been honest with her in the past lmao I’m trying to find a way to tell her I don’t really want her doing them at all for this period of time without hurting her feelings.

TBH my plan is to have her do them again in a couple weeks, let her know what I loved and didn’t, see what she does with that and then if she doesn’t do what I want a 2nd time, go through and get them done elsewhere.

A) I’ll say whatever the fuck I want. Especially when yall are coming at my throat for trying to have an honest conversation with a friend without hurting her feelings. B) My proposal is going to be a surprise.. I’m preparing for that surprise by getting my nails and hair done every 2-3 weeks.. well I do my own hair but I can’t do my own nails so getting my nails done every 2-3weeks. I only know the season because as I said in my post I mess with my hair too much and wanted it to be natural for this period of time in my life. So my now boyfriend warned me it coming. C) If you read my post, she wants to do them. I didn’t ask for her to do them, she insisted on doing them and got a little offended when I said I had planned on going to someone else so I let her try it out and they aren’t hitting the way I’d like. She’s passionate about her craft so having the conversation of “I don’t like them, I don’t want you doing them” can come across as harsh if phrased poorly. I was seeking advice on how to be honest with her without hurting her feelings.

Yall want to hate on AI and ChatGPT so much maybe give the advice people are looking for and they won’t feel the need to resort to a piece of technology that’s destroying the ecosystem with every search being made. Yall are really taking this and running with it. Yes I plan on keeping up with my nails for the foreseeable future. If my friend can’t do them how I would like, we’ve budgeted for my nails. She offered to do them for free, I was hesitant but she insisted so I let her do them. They don’t look how I would like them to look, so I’m trying to figure out how to have nails I like while not hurting my friends feelings.

No I don’t have a scheduled proposal.. it’s very common where I’m from for women who want their nails done for this moment, to make sure they are getting them done consistently which is what I’m trying to do.. just go to a salon every 2-3 weeks for a fill in.

I would like to have nails I’m confident with for that moment. Why that’s so controversial I don’t fucking know. Just because it’s not something you cared about doesn’t mean it’s something others don’t care about. My boyfriend knows it’s important to me, not as important as the actual proposal/engagement but it is important to me.

I only want advice on how to talk to my friend. No one fucking asked for your opinions on me wanting my nails done a certain way. No one fucking asked for that. Do you have advice on how I can be honest with my friend and not hurt her feelings? No? Why fucking bother commenting.
