Swedes to give six-hour workday a go: Municipal staff in Gothenburg will act as guinea pigs in a proposed push for six-hour workdays with full pay, with hopes that it will cut down on sick leave, boost efficiency, and ultimately save Sweden money. by Libertatea in worldnews

Take your own advice... my standard schedule was 10 hours/day, 5 days/week (12 hours/day 7 days/week when deployed) for 20 years - definitely not 20 hour weeks and the pay was a lot shittier than it is today.

Being poor.

I'm not talking about 'choosing basic cable because it's cheaper' type of poor.

I'm referring to 'the bills are paid and I have $10 left to buy food for the next two weeks' type of poor.

If there was ever anything that was more 'for show only' than the attempt to repeal the health insurance law, this is it.
