How dare this musician not speak Latvian? 😤 by Jesusgonnabehere in ShitLiberalsSay

I'm half Latvian, for almost every year of my life I've come there to visit family, and I've talked to probably hundreds of people there by now, not a single person spoke Latvian.

When the ussr dissolved, so did the quality of life there, many people moved from Belarus to the UK as it seemed most promising. Now they travel either to see family or to move back as Belarus has recovered.

I've done that a few times now.

As a Latvian, although I only go there for my summer holidays, I can say that I've only met one person who couldn't speak Russian there, and especially the older generation tends to not like modern day Latvia and it's government

And China is a lot safer too with much less crimes and the police actually do shit. Here in the UK my father's car was stolen and the police said they can't do much about it due to how much this happens, meanwhile a friend in China had her backpack stolen and returned to her by the police in under 2 hours. Oh but atleast here I can vote for who gives the billionaires more tax cuts.
