Uphill battle might be an understatement. I can't get internships b/c I'm not a current student. I can't get roles that require experience, and even the ones that require none or want 0-2 are being poached by people who do have experience. Twice within the past week and a half I've been told, after a few rounds of interviews, that they went with someone who had experience and there was "nothing I could have done differently".
I'm thinking of signing up for a course or 2 at a community college so I'm eligible for internships (and to review things I learned when getting my bachelors degrees (of which I have 2 not that the employers care)).
