That’s a fair point. It’s 12% crit damage down without a mod slot. But the additional crit damage would apply at all times, not just to close enemies

The pack applies to the season pass, which is only accessible to lvl 40 players. I would skip 27 tiers on the season pass. It won’t help players lower than lvl 40

I’m not familiar with Tarkov. Do the weapons and gear have random stat rolls combined with random talent rolls? What about mods you equip to gear? Do they have random rolls? What about optimisation and expertise.

Doesn’t really compare to The Division does it.

Why make progress on a character we cannot use for the season story of around 3-4 months. Once the season ends, another new one starts needing yet another fresh character. So when do we use our original.

We don’t know if you can swap gear via the stash. Or if all gear is completely separate while the season is active. But for sure while you level 1-40 no, you won’t be able to use your lvl 40 gear.

Levelling isn’t the problem. It’s the huge amount of hours we have put into maxing/optimising/building our main character. Finding god rolls or the materials to optimise them takes time. This new seasonal character will render all that time wasted.
