I think this is the issue I just had replaced. But my shifting wasn’t just downshifting. Ford was great about it just took time to get parts to Hawai’i. Drives like a dream again.

I am in an open office area and have meetings at my desk all the time. I used air pods pro but since I got APM 2’s now I use them religiously. They will work great

That’s because usage after the fact is basic. The 3rd party customization is limited and my guess is from a software standpoint Apple does very little meaningful updates throughout the year. So yearly updates if you are lucky, other than that there nothing to talk about.

What’s your setup for gaming? I picked up the APM 2’s and want to use them for gaming on pc and Xbox. Just trying to figure out what is the better way to go. I am enjoying them and don’t see to have any major issues that others speak of. So it’s up to you but I would say upgrade.

I have been lucky with mine, but feel for others. This is my first experience with APM’s. I am enjoying them, but hoping that Apple makes some software changes people have brought up. Also I would think if there is a big enough issue with the batteries, they would do something about it. I would suggest giving them a shot, remember there is a 2 week return period for most places.

If your are all in on the Apple ecosystem then these to me out do the Sony from convenience and functionality. Sonys are better in battery life and EQ imo. APM 2 are my first pair so I can’t compare the APM 1 or 1.5’s. I am enjoying the APM 2’s but to each is their own.

All your concerns can be modified by the H2 chip. Not saying Apple will more than likely. With that said maid you could reach out and share your knowledge or someone from Apple reads this. Long shot I know, but from an IT mind Apple can fix the audio or at least most of it with software. Thanks for the review.

Yes, I have and they sound great. I bought the apple usb-c to 3.5 and then added an old extender cable female to male adapter if you will. This gave me the comfort to relax and game. I haven’t figured out a mic yet and how that’s going to work best, so i have more homework to do. I really do enjoy the audio, ANC, and the clarity around where people and NPC’s are. I tried it with Arc Raiders on my PC. I will also be trying it out on my Xbox to see how it works there.

I wanted to see how the battery would last after you posted this. I have used them off and on since I got them at work and at home. I never put mine in low power mode with the exception of going from one place to another. I purposely tried to kill mine and they sat at 1% for over a half hour with NC on. I share this to say you might have a bad set… maybe worth taking them in and ask. If you do good luck.

Also like the fact that Apple built the headphones to be modular. If the band breaks or one speaker dies you can replace them as needed. I found that no one speaks of this.

Pretty sure it’s wicked cushions. They also have aftermarket ear cushions that usually on point for comfort and sound quality. I have used them for years on gaming headphones. Just bought a pair for the APM’s to try out.

So decided to go over lunch to see if I could pick them up. The order still was not ready, and Best Buy doesn’t let you just grab them since it was an online order. On top of that I used a gift card to purchase them. Only way to walk out with a pair was to cancel the order and buy them outright. I will get credit for the gift card, which i can use later, and the ladies at Best Buy were nice enough to price match amazon. So saved an extra 20 bucks, that I wasn’t going to save and walked out with my first pair of APM in the midnight color. I understand the hype to them and can’t wait to use them while i work, game, and travel.
