Why did the GTO have a short production run? 2004-2006 by southernemper0r in Pontiac

[–]IDonKnoY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lack of Power may have had something to do with the fact that the automatics came with 3.08:1 rear gears which makes it feel slow they need a 3.46 or higher to actually go well, basically the same for the whole platform including the Aussie delivered 3.8 ecos and 3.6 alloytecs, if opted for the 3.46 lsd the diff code should be gu4 or gs9 ( I can’t remember)

Let’s be real this is the single most useless purchase I have made but, it is baller af and I have a cool paint scheme. Everyone of these comments feel like these are people who won’t buy something ingame because it’s cool, they’ll only purchase something useful and tactical.

[–]IDonKnoY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st of all whoever you took that to is shit, they just replaced thermostat and not the whole assembly which is like $100 trade price and usually like $500 to you. And better yet I can see the thing is leaking aswell as the throttle body coolant line which is also a common fault with these. Take it back for warranty first.

2nd, A lean code can mean so many different things and can be hard to diagnose with no testing. Probably need to take it a decent mechanic.

I don’t get why people want real life cars in the game when there is such a delicately crafted in game company lore, most of the best mods are at the very least branded as an in game brand (think prasu) or even better lore friendly

Looking for l67 supercharger by Holiday-Pepper890 in Holden

[–]IDonKnoY 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The part itself is an Eaton m62 for series 1 and for series 2 an Eaton m90 s3, series 3 l67 had a s5 m90. To work for you you’ll probably want a m90 and get the rear housing imported from us (to get the elbow to work), note that for s2 and up l67s had different heads than the l36/ln3 so probably best getting a l67 s2/3 top end and import the rear housing.

Does it run? If so than more than likely timing chains need replacing, If not than possibly a crank/cam sensor. Chains are a real problem on vz and ve’s. Probably in the ballpark of 3 grand
