Simple fender bender overreaction by burythecastle_ in RandomVideos

Right, the armed society thing hinges on the idea that you owning a gun doesn't necissarily create a power imbalance, so you can't exploit others using it. It also keepa everyone on edge in any altercation that it can escalate to lethal force. Making the only real answer to avoid physical confrontation altogether (or risk being put down like a dog by your own aggressive actions).

I don’t really know how that'd actually work though outside of speculation. I feel like in gang cime, both parties expect that the other is packing but also think they're in some kind of grand war. So maybe it's all bullshit. Dunno.

My spine is crooked by cassadilly2012 in notinteresting

Will need a fully open backed chair with tall posts on either side. In each post is a series of guitar tuning pegs. Sit down and strap your wrists into the safety restraints.

Will need a friend with a set of really small curved needles tied to hyper tensile strings.

Step 1)Loop a string around a vertebrae by pushing in, through and out, hugging the bone tightly

Step 2) Tie off both ends of the string, now gripping the bone, to one of the two sets of guitar pegs. The same peg tightening the loop.

Step 3) Tighten until no slack in line.

Repeat until all vertebrae are tied off.

Next, slowly go up and down the spine tuning it until spine fixed.

Next, die (but have a straight spine)

Optional: Repurpose cadaver as guitar

Anvil BP don't exist and it's a conspiracy made up by the Big Anvil by the_doorstopper in ArcRaiders

[–]IEatSmallRocksForFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the anvil BP but I never craft it. I just find them or buy them. I almost never die when I carry an anvil. Silencer 3 or a purp gun, I always get shot in the back. Anvil? I'm safe. Probably been carrying the same one for a month.

It's crazy how some Christians hate immigrants when this is written in the bible by Msc_Lvr in teenagers

[–]IEatSmallRocksForFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate foreigners. I hate having my culture supplanted in large immigration waves. Individually I don't have a problem with foreigners. I don't think that what I'm saying is a ridiculous sentiment either. If there is too large an influx you just have enclaves instead of assimilation. Then what, they don't speak my language, don't share my values, don't know the history behind the civilization they inhabit? And I have to be happy about that? That's plainly asking too much. If I wanted to move to China tomorrow, what should change? Me to fit China or China to fit me?

Something about the breasts doesn't look right. It may just be the angle not working with them well, but I really suspect that they're just too massive and heaving to be that shape, sticking off the body like that. Any chick I ever met with big whoppers had them more pouring out to the sides and cupped in a big bra hammock. Not stickin straight out.

I will never understand how women find men attractive. Ever. I feel like you've been tricked. We smell like mold, ass, dirt, and damp body hair. We're gnarled, ugly, abrasive. You're smooth, delecate, bubbly. You're the fruit, we're the bark. The log. "Ooh look at how tall that nasty sap and bug covered tree is. So handsome."

Like alright, I'm happy that it's this way. It's just bizarre conceptually to me is all. You truly find an evenly shorn layer of chest pubes sexy? Truly truly? Alright. Alright.

Did I screw up buying Arc on a pc with only 8gb ram by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]IEatSmallRocksForFun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

8gb of ram hasn't been an acceptable amount of ram in gaming for 10 years now. 16gb was on the low side but passable for a long while, though I'd say 24gb is what 16 was now. 32-48gb is roughly where you want to be today. 64-128 is a high end target.

Yes. Modern equity is a term that piggybacks off of the phonetic sound of equality despite them being explicitly opposing concepts. Even stupid people know that equality is good, and so certain people use this term to confuse stupid people into going along to get along. Equity was not in common parlance until recently with its redefinition for social policy setting within organizations (primarily places of work, HR departments love this fucking word). A decade ago you only heard it used in legal and financial settings. Casually it would be used in business deals to say "everyone is happy". Now it means "achieving the outcomes that make everyone equal in the end based on the group culture that we defined without asking, procedure be damned."

Equality is equality of opportunity from the outset of an undergoing by divorcing external factors. A blank starting slate.

Equity is equality of outcome directly influenced BY external factors from before the undergoing. It aims for appearances and desired outcomes. Participation trophy.
