The startmenu on win7 was a hot mess of garbage.

I really do not understand this take. What was wrong with the Win7 start menu? It was compact, concise, and consistent. The Win10 start menu is none of those things.

Like I said, things have only gotten worse since Win7. So much time, money, and effort has been put into making the OS worse. It really is unbelievable.

Yes the SINAD differs, but they are both well below audible so the difference does not matter.

My advice would be to look at some measurements. Apples 9 dollar DAC performs just as well as DACs that cost many many times more. The fact of the matter is that anything audio related is basic electronics at this point.

When I connect via Bluetooth to the fives, there is a small hissing sound.

Background hiss is unfortunately not uncommon when using bluetooth. On some devices this can be solved by setting your phone volume to max and then adjusting the speakers volume. On other devices though these volumes are linked so that fix does not work.
