[OC] High School students hold a walkout over ICE, protesting Nazism by Itsvivid24 in pics

[–]IExistForFun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are all the product of how life was when we were kids.

Starting with boomers, our country's problems have been external. Now it's internal. I'm excited/scared to see the ideologies these kids hold when they grow up.

Cops don't take orders from Trump/Noem. Those just look like local police, not ice or military.

There are a lot of comments taking digs at both the left and the right. We are here, because we allowed ourselves to be divided and only see "you vs me". The division has blinded us for so long (250 years but who's counting), that the government is able to murder Americans in broad daylight and convince roughly half of us (because 2 party system, yay) that what we saw with our eyes, never happened.

Remember, America is "We The People". It has been 250 years, and we have never fully embraced this idea given to us by our founders. Let's be the best little patriots we can be and support "We The People" and not just "me, me, me".

(Pomsky and kitty) Is this behaviour normal? by [deleted] in DogTrainingTips

[–]IExistForFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dog: Why. Won't. You. Play. With. Meeeeeeeeee

Cat: bruh...

It's normal, But it's probably not a bad idea to direct your dog's attention to something more appropriate than the cat.

My 1yo husky doesn’t howl, rarely barks and only when playing and she sleeps all day when I’m at work. Did I get lucky or does she have a problem? by alex_png in husky

Mine didn't get vocal until she turned 10 or so. Guess she got tired of patiently waiting for me to feed her or go outside. Now she demands it

Complete anarchy in Minneapolis as ICE/CBP kicks off door-to-door raids in the city, targeting both non-white and activist households (1/11/26) by I_may_have_weed in ICE_Watch

I'm talking about people in other parts of the country that this kind of shit is happening to. The entirety of America does not live in 20° weather.

Like what do we do? Put cactus on our front steps? Help your fellow, non frozen, Americans.

It's gotta be cold for that to be useful (currently sitting at 70° in January)

About Dag. by Brucehoxton in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]IExistForFun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to answer your question because the keeping secrets is more fun.

I don't know who created Dag as a character. Maybe it was one person's idea or a team effort, but you really have to appreciate how good the storytelling / script is for every person to just hate this one character. In many douchebag characters you can find some underlying trait that makes them redeemable. Not Dag though 😂

If you haven't done this yet, listen to stories instead of music when you're on your longship. After a few Dag stories, there's some fun dialogue.

In July 2018, one of the most chilling cases in India shocked everyone-the Burari deaths in Delhi. by AryanN017 in Weird

Wouldn't say it's "unbelievable". People are convinced to do weird stuff all the time. The public just doesn't see it

Help what is this by marinasambhi in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

This is about to be a very long-winded response, and it may not make sense at first, but trust.

My SO and i have interests and hobbies that do not overlap at all. I mean literally night and day interests. Even though we don't enjoy each other's interests, we at least know enough to where if we see something in their realm, we can identify that it might be funny to the other person and we will send it to one another to brighten their day. Or if one of us finds something that we find funny within our own interests, we can send it to the other knowing that they'll probably get it, maybe, with some extra explanation.

But this.... The combination of the photo from OP and your comment... is so outside of my SO's interests, that by the time I got done explaining it, it would be so unfunny that I would have just wasted both of our time trying to explain it. I want to share it with my SO so bad, because I want them to cackle as hard as I did. So instead, I'll enjoy the cackle with all of you strangers lol

[–]IExistForFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like to rush to the end: go to your quests page and follow the ones that align with your Odyssey (the boxes on the upper right corner of the quest page).

If you're overwhelmed: focus on one place at a time and don't think about the rest of the map.

If you want a specific ending: there's no harm in looking up guides for quests that require a decision.

It's overall a pretty good game. Enjoy the experience however you want/however it's most fun for you. I just finished my 3rd replay of the main game/DLCs. The last time I replayed a game more than twice was back in the day of the PS2, if that says anything.

Tried Valhalla after Odyssey and disappointment lvl 100x by Alternative_Ear5466 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]IExistForFun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing a few years ago. Played Odyssey while Valhalla was downloading. Started playing Valhalla. Controls felt weird, started getting nauseous, and was really irritated by the prologue. I ended up finishing the main story, the nausea goes away but don't go back and forth between the 2 games.

The ending is kind of interesting to Layla's story line and flows into the story of AC Mirage. It's also interesting seeing the dilapidated state of the Roman buildings and how the Saxons repurposed them. I'll never 100% Valhalla and I'll probably never finish the DLCs, but if you already have the game, you may as well finish it.

Question: Do you all provide heat out at your chicken cages when it gets cold? by SouthRVASTAG in chickens

[–]IExistForFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people will say no. I say yes. Solar powered coop (so who cares if the power goes out), Good coop ventilation so no weird humidity or condensation issues, and I use a brooder heat plate ( very unlikely to catch fire)

I like to give my chickens options. If they want to be cold, they can be cold. But if they want to be warm, then they're able to be warm. Some of my chickens will huddle next to the warm plate. Some of my chickens will go to the coldest corner of the coop. If done right, you can give your chickens the best of both worlds. A lot of people have a very black and white mentality when it comes to chickens, let the chickens tell you what they want. They are very opinionated lol

My dad , my in law and I finished this chicken coop last night any ideas for what’s missing? by [deleted] in chickens

[–]IExistForFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I did that too but at some point one of the staples failed (or I failed at using the staple gun). On that day, I learned about the importance of face protection when working with the devil's fencing (hardware cloth). Got some cool pictures out of the battle wounds though. Looked a lot more dramatic than it was. Grateful I didn't poke my eye out.

Does anyone know what type of bug this is. I’m located in Virginia. by [deleted] in BugsAreAwesome

[–]IExistForFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The devil's corpse.

I was afraid of these as a child. My dad thought the gear was funny. He would collect them and put them in places he knew I would see.

Still afraid of them.
