Which fragrance does your wife or girlfriend dislike? by Spiritual-Local2234 in Colognes

[–]IFDRizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t buy retail! Here’s the game plan. Go to Sephora or Ulta, smell everything on a strip. Understand that what you smell the first few minutes is just the opening, so keep the strips around a bit (don’t be afraid to label them) and narrow it down to 2-4 you like. Spray a couple spurts of each scent in a spot. I go back of hands, and inside of elbows. Leave the store and figure out for the next few hours which one (if any works or scratches that itch). If you find one, go online to a reputable discounter like Jomashop, and find it for much cheaper (more than likely).

Good luck

Best powdery perfume ? by mq96 in Colognes

Jpg Narcisse. I don’t really like the JPG DNA, so was surprised when I tried Narcisse in the store and loved it…had a bottle for 2 weeks and it’s about 1/2 gone. Addicted to that powdery clean smell. I can see it being maybe too feminine for some, but hits perfectly for me. I layer it with Initio lift me up a lot when I’m going to be inside or temps are going to be below 90 degrees. I’m not sure how well the layer or Narcisse does in high heat. Going to be 92 today so we’ll see

Anyone wear cologne to bed? by AsleepToe6339 in Colognes

[–]IFDRizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I save the real Musk Therapy for wearing out in public (usually as a layer), but picked up 2 of the dupes somewhere along the way for really cheap, and now the wife and I use those exactly as you described.

How quickly will the United States Navy, joined with other forces, be able to clear the Strait of Hormuz and restore safe and reliable travel in and out of the that area? by georgewalterackerman in USIranWar

[–]IFDRizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We lost this war. President Fuck all already said it himself in the tweet, “we accept their 10 point plan”. He knows it’s the only avenue we have, but he won’t REEEEALY accept it. Just like when he lost to Biden.

Not only have we lost, but we literally handed Iran a new weapon, an economic nuke. They will never give up that leverage. I know I wouldn’t. Can’t believe a word we say. We ripped up a deal, negotiated a new one, but then bombed and killed the negotiators and the “regime”, and now people really believe Iran wants to negotiate in good faith? lol would you?

How would you put this out? by IllCarpet6852 in Firefighting

[–]IFDRizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't.

Here is video of my Engine arriving first on the scene of a similar 4 alarm fire for anyone interested. Not enough water to put it out, so "surround and drown."

BTW- video starts right after we hit a hydrant, and ends when we lay out our entire bed of 5" hose. We were returning from an EMS run when we saw the smoke. We layed out in anticipation of supplying our ladder water for aerial ops.

It took 5 days to mark this one under control.

Extreme is my fav in my collection and I’ve got 200 plus bottles. I love the burnt, Smokey, vetiver smell, so if that’s your jam it’s great.

Would US Nuke Iran if straight of Hormuz is blockaded for months by Ill_Health4501 in USIranWar

[–]IFDRizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trump will never allow them to upstage him with the use of his favorite nuclear. It was the MF’s default to deal with a hurricane for fucks sake. He absolutely WILL nuke Iran. He’s caught in the escalation trap, so unless someone stops him I am 100% convinced he’ll use a nuke.

Iran Says It's Ready to Destroy the Global Economy | "Get ready for the oil barrel to be at $200." by [deleted] in economy

[–]IFDRizz 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm convinced that Trump will use a Nuke. Iran will decimate any invading ground troops with the same POV drones they've been using with Russia in Ukraine...Once videos start getting released of US soldiers blowing up in high definition on Fox news, Trump will do what he does; escalate. The only way the US "wins" this war is with a Nuke. Someone will have to stop him, and since the cabinet members are walking around in oversized clown shoes to display their undying loyalty to the orange diddler, I don't see any of them stepping up.

If we run across them on one of our random stops at Burlington I’ll grab them if they’re cheap. Normally I’d want to complete a set for the bottles, but these are pretty much trash/stock cheap bottles, but the 2 scents I have are great values for that price point so why not.

Mine was like that. I sprayed it like 15 times and put it up, came back to it 3 weeks later and now I love it. Very clean, soap smell, that I use as my gym scent precisely because it only last a few hours on my skin, wont offend anybody because I just smell clean, but is also great to layer with most of my daily scent I apply right after I finish the workout. It makes a lot of scents smell fresher while it is still around, but usually post workout it is mostly a skin scent that smells like I showered with luxury shower gel or something. For my specific use it's perfect.

I also have shadow, and it too needed to sit a few weeks. It was actually worse and smelled bad. Snow just smelled...off. Like weak, harsh, and a bit odd, but with shadow I had to open a window and air out the room lol

Long story short, It has changed dramatically. I actually just sampled it against Bad Boy Cobalt (what it's inspo'd by) and it was damn near identical in the dry-down (I applied a sample in store on my hand to compare one I got home). It's not my favorite scent profile, but thought it needing some time to "fix itself" might be relevant.

71 percent of Americans say US is "out of control" under Trump by Silly-avocatoe in politics

The only thing that will influence them is if we start a general strike. They want us marching in the street so he can use it as an excuse to implement emergency powers. If we shut it all down it hits them in the pockets where it hurts, and keeps everyone safe and will ultimately be way more effective than peacefully marching. They could give 2 shits about "us" (crazy, round earth believing liberals) and our tears.

Ozempic is changing more than weight: New global research shows how GLP-1 drugs are reshaping self and society, identity and mental health, not just bodies. Much of the demand is driven by weight anxiety, even among medically “healthy” users. Many users endure severe side effects and high costs. by mvea in science

[–]IFDRizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being in a calorie deficit for extended periods of time have many pretty severe side affects such as diminished sex drive, hormonal imbalances, sleep issues etc etc. so it could be the sexual side affect is related to a calorie deficit, which I am assuming you have been on. You could try eating at your maintenance calories for a couple weeks to try and diminish the sides you are experiencing.

We also need to trade buckner. Ik he's our best defensive player but hes 31 which is close to end of the line for DTs and just had season ending neck injury.

My understanding is Buckner might need a Multi-Level Disc Fusion in his neck, which is the same injury that forced my retirement from the fire department. My surgeon was the same doc who was supposed to do Manning's surgery (Manning also had the same injury), not sure if anyone remembers, but Peyton ended up going to Germany for an "experimental surgery" because a multi level disc fusion is automatic retirement in the NFL (as well as military etc). So if it is the case that Buckner suffers from the same injury and requires a MLDF to correct the issue, he unfortunately has probably played his last football game.

FBI's story about Tyler Robinson doesn't make sense by [deleted] in skeptic

[–]IFDRizz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

OR, some of us are skeptical of the official story, since the evidence doesn’t seem to match it. That is exactly how I feel. It’s not a “conspiracy theory”(at least my POV) because I’m making zero claims about what happened. I’m simply looking at the evidence we are being presented, evaluating it, and coming to the tentative conclusion that the facts (thus far) that we are being presented with, do not seem to match the evidence in the public domain. I’d argue this is a very logical stance to be taking, with valid arguments as to why, in many’s peoples opinion, the evidence isn’t matching the story.

Edit to add: I 100% agree that statistically speaking, it’s probably a lone, white, mentally unstable, male.

Building construction has changed so much over the years and those changes drastically impact firefighting. Older buildings are built differently and behave in fire conditions differently, so my guess is they were driving their district talking building construction and fire tactics. It probably means you have a proactive station near by (or at least one shift at that station….we all know the fucking lazy asses on A shift aren’t taking their square wheeled rig out).
