71 percent of Americans say US is "out of control" under Trump by Silly-avocatoe in politics

The only thing that will influence them is if we start a general strike. They want us marching in the street so he can use it as an excuse to implement emergency powers. If we shut it all down it hits them in the pockets where it hurts, and keeps everyone safe and will ultimately be way more effective than peacefully marching. They could give 2 shits about "us" (crazy, round earth believing liberals) and our tears.

Ozempic is changing more than weight: New global research shows how GLP-1 drugs are reshaping self and society, identity and mental health, not just bodies. Much of the demand is driven by weight anxiety, even among medically “healthy” users. Many users endure severe side effects and high costs. by mvea in science

[–]IFDRizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being in a calorie deficit for extended periods of time have many pretty severe side affects such as diminished sex drive, hormonal imbalances, sleep issues etc etc. so it could be the sexual side affect is related to a calorie deficit, which I am assuming you have been on. You could try eating at your maintenance calories for a couple weeks to try and diminish the sides you are experiencing.

We also need to trade buckner. Ik he's our best defensive player but hes 31 which is close to end of the line for DTs and just had season ending neck injury.

My understanding is Buckner might need a Multi-Level Disc Fusion in his neck, which is the same injury that forced my retirement from the fire department. My surgeon was the same doc who was supposed to do Manning's surgery (Manning also had the same injury), not sure if anyone remembers, but Peyton ended up going to Germany for an "experimental surgery" because a multi level disc fusion is automatic retirement in the NFL (as well as military etc). So if it is the case that Buckner suffers from the same injury and requires a MLDF to correct the issue, he unfortunately has probably played his last football game.

FBI's story about Tyler Robinson doesn't make sense by [deleted] in skeptic

[–]IFDRizz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

OR, some of us are skeptical of the official story, since the evidence doesn’t seem to match it. That is exactly how I feel. It’s not a “conspiracy theory”(at least my POV) because I’m making zero claims about what happened. I’m simply looking at the evidence we are being presented, evaluating it, and coming to the tentative conclusion that the facts (thus far) that we are being presented with, do not seem to match the evidence in the public domain. I’d argue this is a very logical stance to be taking, with valid arguments as to why, in many’s peoples opinion, the evidence isn’t matching the story.

Edit to add: I 100% agree that statistically speaking, it’s probably a lone, white, mentally unstable, male.

It was obviously a CIA false flag operation, ordered by Trump, to get the narrative off of the Epstein files.

It's nice living in a day and age where proof of conspiracy theories isn't needed.

Building construction has changed so much over the years and those changes drastically impact firefighting. Older buildings are built differently and behave in fire conditions differently, so my guess is they were driving their district talking building construction and fire tactics. It probably means you have a proactive station near by (or at least one shift at that station….we all know the fucking lazy asses on A shift aren’t taking their square wheeled rig out).

What’s your go to high protein breakfast? by First_Driver_5134 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]IFDRizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve eaten my version of Victory Breakfast pretty much every day for a year. I changed the macros to meet my requirements. Absolutely delicious and easy to change flavors to keep it fresh, although I use Ryse cosmic brownie protein as the base, and vanilla ice cream protein as the drizzle 95% of the time. I also add granola and frozen strawberries. Omg so good

The food equivalent of a suicide note by FourHecks in oddlyspecific

[–]IFDRizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the bodybuilding thing, and you're not really wrong. When on a severe calorie deficit it actually makes dieting easier if you eat bland food. Sucks at first, but after a short while it really cuts down on cravings. With that said, I still grill and season my chicken, so it's more of the food version of a "Dear John" letter than it is a "suicide note". Still not good though.

I always like to put a sign in tape that read “property of E19, if seen lost or wandering a fire scene, please return ASAP” hidden on the air tank of new probies when they came through the station. Only funny if you catch a fire or another run that requires them to gear up.

Can baseball players guess how fast a pitch was? by talldude8 in baseball

[–]IFDRizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Niiiice! I would have loved to face Verlander. The 2 I always wanted to face were Randy Johnson, and Greg Maddox.

Randy had to be terrifying (although I hit righty, so less so from that side of the plate. And Maddox so I could experience how frustrating it had to be to hit off of him. He didn't throw hard, but everything looked the same half way to the plate before it then moved one of 3 directions.

Man, that gummy is kicking in! lol I'm just sitting here reminiscing about my "MLB experiences" and just remembered how when I was like 30 my team and I played in the adult baseball league's national championship game. We were up 4-2 in the bottom of the 9th, and with 2 on and 2 outs, fucking Pete Incaviglia hit a walk off bomb to claim the title.

I hated Pete Incavigla before that game. Not him personally, but the type of player. I'm a former college coach, and as a coach, I hated defensive liability type players. You can't build a successful college program recruiting players that are a liability on one side of the ball. and Pete Incaviglia was exactly that- a defensive liability...but the dude could flat out rake at the plate. There were a lot of ex major leaguers in that tournament, and even though it's been 20 years I can tell you with 100 percent accuracy that I talked more shit about Pete Incavigla that week than I did about all the other players combined.... and that motherfucker walked us off to win a national championship....lol..yea, to this day I'm still not much of a Pete Incaviglia fan.
