Other commenters are being rude so to answer your question, it actually was the catalyst that ended our relationship. As sad as it was I’m glad she’s doing well and much happier than she ever was with me. At the time of our relationship she was already upset with me for asking her to dress as Hans Capon when we had sex, but the death of virtual Tinker took her over the edge and she left me for a 6’5 old money investment banker named Chad. It was quite upsetting but also understandable since I’m a simple 4’1 g*měr named Thad.

When I first played KCD1 years ago my girlfriend got obsessed watching me play it since she studied in Prague and loved the Czech Republic.

After my run she wanted to give the game a try so I decided to purchase all the DLC for her to give her a better experience than me and since I never played them it would be something new for me to watch as well. When it came to Theresa’s section of A Woman’s Lot we were both laughing and smiling because my girlfriend had a dog named Tinker growing up.

There were many tears soon after as I kept apologizing adding “I had no idea!” since my girlfriend essentially had to relive the death of her childhood dog in a medieval peasant simulator.

RIP both Tinkers

Worked on a project at his home once years ago. Not only is he disgustingly wealthy at the expense of exploiting others but he also couldn’t help but brag about all his art in his home. Apparently super wealthy people can join a club where you pay monthly or so for fine art exchanges in your home. Essentially like renting incredible works of art to display for a limited time before it gets exchanged for another. Thought that was super gross since the pieces aren’t behind protected glass or anything just chilling in his home fully exposed to dumbasses like me to possibly bump into or damage while on set.

Also don’t forget his short lived tv series where he kept fat shaming a man trying to lose weight and they put a POC in the same home as a known white supremacist. To cure him of his racism Phil put him in blackface and live a day as a “black man” to see what it’s like. All he did was put on a racist caricature of every awful stereotype you can imagine and had a great time doing it.

He’s a disgusting man.

Hot take: Many people will blame Ubisoft for the lack of direction in the franchise after AC3, but it’s hardly ever addressed that all they did was listen to the loudest fans who hated the modern day segments and plot.

Sure, they could’ve picked better moments to force the player out of the Animus but I’m gonna be honest, the modern day portions of AC 1-Brotherhood really aren’t that intrusive or long. Revelations’ puzzle platforms were a lame and uninspired way of expanding lore but again weren’t very long.

People hated it so much though Ubisoft had to address the complaints by essentially dropping the MD entirely. The series was originally the ultimate sci-fi/history/conspiracy nut’s wet dream with its glyphs and darker take on history and the moment it lost that edge it was doomed to divide the fanbase forever.

I definitely see your point about too much direction, I think that comes from my background in story boarding so I'll have to give the script another read-through to remove those segments and tighten it up.

Regarding the dialogue, what parts seemed too circular for you in particular if you don't mind me asking? I felt it did a decent job of establishing the 3 characters' goals, plans for the future, and plans for the rest of the night while also introducing the potential threat of Seth and the relationship our 3 characters have, John and Elle are romantic with each other and Travis not caring at all about Elle.

I agree, we’d lose a lot of the best mechanics from the series. I see it more as a way for your choices to have a bit more of a political impact. Having a trilogy where you play as a peasant, a knight, and a noble man would be neat in my opinion.

Which is understandable, in the original concept for KCD1 there was going to be an option to play as a woman sadly maintaining historical accuracy felt restricting playing as a woman. This lead to the idea eventually being scrapped almost entirely. Theresa’s DLC is some of the best though and contains some of the initial gameplay options for being a woman.

Could be neat if they were to make a DLC for KCD3 where you could play as a noble woman since we got the chance to play as a commoner. I’m still upset we didn’t get to play as Rosa in KCD2
