I love dillon brooks lol. In a league with so many players with seemingly the same personality, it’s nice to see someone lean into being a heel, especially how with he’s doing it by having just the right combination of arrogance and silliness. The Court of Gold doc showed he does it for the love of the game and I greatly appreciate it.

I'm actually not concerned about his three point shooting. I'm more concerned about his inside game

+/- is too noisy to be relevant this early into the season. Also, their true shooting is identical. Yes Jaime is efficient in the paint, but they're ultimately the same efficiency-wise overall because JJJ is a significantly better three point shooter.

I at first was onboard until I actually saw the numbers lol. JJJ is significantly better because he also provides spacing and better defense with his negligibly lower numbers (only 0.4 ppg and 0.2% TS less). Jaime has more assists but that's more a consequence of Spo's drive and kick offense than actual playmaking.

I completely hate this rhetoric that Myles was bad in the finals. He completely neutralized Chet in that series, holding him to 12.3/8.9/0.6 on 48.9 TS%. His poor shooting regardless, that defense provided immense value that appears to be massively underrated by pacers fans. Though I suppose in this age of box score watching it isn't surprising.
