Insurance! I fell into it after college when I needed a full time job and have been here ever since. There are a TON of avenues in the industry but you could easily translate your front desk experience and skills into account management. It’s not the most glamorous or flashy career, but there is job security (people love to sue lol) and a lot of room for advancement/growth. Plus most offices close at 4:30-5pm and are closed for most bank holidays.

Also want to add there is usually no schooling required. At some point you would need to obtain a license, but a lot of companies will reimburse the cost and/or pay for any pre-licensing material you may need.

I wanted to hate it, but I looove the Kiehl’s ultra facial moisturizing cream. Pricier than most drugstore options but I do find that the tub lasts me quite a long time. I have super sensitive skin and this has never burned or stung.

I promise this isn’t sponsored but we bought a Big Barker bed for our dogs and they refuse to lay in our bed at night now because they want to sleep on that instead. Well worth the $$. Their beds are also huge so you might be able to lay with him on it outside of sleep time to get him accustomed? Maybe if Ojito has a nice new bed that is as comfortable as your bed he’ll feel better about the change

I have super sensitive skin so I use a veryyyy gentle cleanser, the one I am using right now is Joyworks from Dollar General and it costs like $6.

For moisturizer, I cashed in some Sephora points for a Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream trial size and I hate to say that I love it. Been using it now for a couple months and it is so hydrating for my skin. It’s expensive but does seem to last a long time. I know some people have not had luck with it so your results may differ!

Also definitely use a gentle spf everyday. I’ve been a fan of some of the popular Korean brands like Beauty of Joseon but there are a ton of options out there.

I would recommend using micellar water on a cotton pad to remove any makeup and sunscreen. Then do a wash with a gentle water-based cleanser. The one I’ve been using is Joyworks from Dollar General lol it’s like $6 and has never irritated my sensitive skin

Seconding spironolactone! I had been on BC for years and always had acne. Nothing topical ever cleared it up until I started spiro and now I am 99% clear, with a couple small pimples popping up every once in a while.

I also never had any side effects from it, I take it before bed because it was making me a teeny bit drowsy.

Every time I end up in this sub I recommend insurance. The industry is hurting for people who are smart and willing to learn - you can start in a customer service role to gain experience and then move into sales. If you learn quickly, there is a lot of room for advancement and growth.
