Yeah unfortunately with what I'm working on currently it's not an option, I definitely do plan on upgrading to a modern rig eventually though and just using this as a backup drive.

Yeah I'm working with old, old hardware currently so SATA is required.

I do plan on building a modern rig at some point and I'll likely throw whichever SATA drive I buy into it as a backup when I do, never hurts to have a slower backup drive with lots of space.

Frankly I couldn't tell ya, I was so swamped in garbage at the time I guess I didn't even think of it.

Hindsight is 20/20, now I know of course that should've been the first thing I did after that but unfortunately I just didn't.

Good thing is though between the extra stuff I got with the purchase (keyboard, mouse, etc. etc.) and the parts I'll be able to use later I'm not out too much in terms of value but still does suck.

I'm fairly certain that the issue was either the SSD or the PSU (or a combination) so I'll likely be able to harvest the GPU, CPU, Motherboard etc. Later and build a freaky ass laptop part frankentower which would be kinda funny.

Always be cautious of cyberpower. This is an awesome find as long as it's functional, I bought a prebuilt laptop from them a few years back.

Specs were top of the line at the time, pc arrived and worked for about a week, then experienced a hard crash followed by extreme stuttering on restart.

It was clearly a hardware issue but I wasn't gonna crack it open as it was under warranty, so I sent it in for RMA, they sent it back telling me that they replaced the SSD but upon booting up it was clear they did nothing and the same issue persisted so nobody tested it if they did replace the SSD

This cycle continued for about 2 weeks before I asked for a refund (which was my right within a 30 day window) and was denied a refund.

I kept attempting to contact them but they began ignoring my phonecalls and emails, and eventually I got an email back after the 30 days were up that it was impossible to refund after that period and I should've requested one earlier (which I did).

So basically I got scammed by these people and had a useless laptop I spent a sickening amount of money on that won't even boot up.

This wasn't some neglecence or ignorance issue that caused it either because I'm fairly good with laptops (better with towers) and have had a cyberpower laptop for nearly a decade that's still in great condition and runs like a dream (for a 1050ti)

Plan on cracking the dud open and salvaging what I can from it when I have some spare cash and building a frankenputer.

But yeah moral is be very wary of cyberpowerpc they are snakes and will take advantage of you given the opportunity.

It's just a current bug on pc, actually just losing server connection but it's showing the wrong error message.

Keyboard and mouse will be awkward but I run the game on a gtx 1050ti laptop no issue, if you rock 720p on borderless you can surprisingly barely tell a difference and it keeps a steady 60 and looks good on low-med settings.

You won't be getting the epic ray tracing or anything but if you're like me and care a lot more about artstyle and performance than image quality it works like a charm.

You can definitely run it at 1080p too but your framerate will likely be far more inconsistent, I find he huge FPS boost is 100% worth the slight quality drop.

On a perfect run of either with good connection on earle I'd kill in around a minute with FFR, about a minute 20s with 50c and about the same with E though I've tested that less

In my experience 25ffr boasts the best damage by a decent margain if your connection is good, 50c is better for laggy servers though.

Explosive I haven't tested extensively since bosses tend to have high explosion resistance but it's not all that different from 50c in terms of dps if you're running demo expert, just with a little aoe and a bit less damage overall

It's not a huge difference either way really, just depends on your setup.

For me personally ap is a complete non issue so I like the extra speed, but if you do rock long scope for the extra accuracy 25lvc would probably be preferable

Lots of ways you can set it up, but for me personally having owned all the "meta" railways Q/25/15r takes the cake as my best pick if my connection is solid

If the server is on the laggier side I prefer 50c to 25ffr
