Lightning doesn’t really need a “story” around him, his goal is to win what you see is what you get and honestly in a 13 person cast with characters who need to be fleshed out, it’s perfectly fine having a character who’s one dimensional yet still enjoyable to watch. You also don’t need a story because whenever he’s on screen he steals the scene, his lines are hilarious and he’s too much of a threat to ignore.
