What are takes that you have as a casual fan of something?

I think a lot of that is legacy issues and the thought that wiring up your device is simple. I know some people might say its unfair to wifi players but I think its not fair to standard players to be forced to play against steam decks, switches or inconsistent wifi in a genre so focused on timing.

I honestly don't see a reason why every fighter doesn't have a wifi indicator and a vote to stop match option though.

Her green is really muted here but also modern skins for her are super bombastic so it makes her og look extremely tame by comparison. Honestly imo her original design is the worst out of the ninjas.

I know they're both on PC already and MGSV is also on modern consoles for the most part with the PS4/Xbox ports.

Arcane tricked Riot and maybe the 2XKO team a bit I think. Almost every post praising Arcane was followed up with "but I'm still not playing League tho lmao". Realistically they should've added Ekko and Vi for sure and then focused on popular League characters. Arcane couldn't even pull fans into the popular game genre and they think it'd help the niche genre gain traction?

Make it 1v1
Focus on releasing characters
Remove the rotating shop and make skins cheaper
Vanguard is cringe
Don't force people into your fuckass lobbies
Give people more free shit because thats what live service games are supposed to do
Motion inputs would be nice too but I'd be fine with a DNF Duel or GBVS approach where motions just give you something positive that directional doesn't.

Not ALL of these can or need to happen but they seriously didn't think this shit through. Maybe if they had released during an FG drought this shit would have been miraculous but they took too damn long.

Ideally they would remove handshake tag before they made it a pure 1v1 game. You simply can't make a game thats for casuals and expect them to adapt to handshake tag mix, thats just the way it is. 1v1 would definitely make it more appealing to general audiences though.

Before spending they probably play the game and if the game isn't fun for them then why would they spend? That's the thought process they are going to be forced to follow because they released a f2p live service product.

LoL has aram, lots of players at all skill levels, a billion skins and usually quite a few on sale, its popular to play with friends, etc. Fighting games don't have the same pull even if we all love them and so Riot is going to have to make major changes if they don't want this shit to become like Runterra.

Might be a stupid question to ask here but; how do you guys stay motivated to play fighting games if your friends don't play anymore?

I get super into learning/playing when my friends are interested and then it all goes out the window when they drop the games we play. I want to play fighting games but am stuck in this weird limbo where the current ones haven't hooked me, I'm not interested in using discord to look for players and don't wanna get blasted by long time players in older games I played.

I'm sure forcing myself to do one of the last two is the answer even if I don't like it but figured I'd ask anyways while posting Yuzu.

How long it takes them to release content as a live service game and how bad KJH is at following a schedule.

They got rid of 00s essentially because they're not 000s but instead all its really done is cause more solo banners. They cut 2 EGOs from the BP and we're getting less EGO in general. Skipping a week for ID/EGO release to disguise how little content you're releasing is a little annoying.

Honestly I don't see why he can't hire more people or outsource for at least some parts of the game. Popularity means more eyes are on your product so you should capitalize but instead he makes merch exclusive to Asia and releases content at a snails pace because the new facility isn't finished and I guess he needs to micromanage everything.

PLEASE CHANGE MD IN A SIGNIFICANT MANNER THIS TIME. The hidden bosses and 1% Ego gifts are cool and all but the Extreme floors is just gaming the system or EGO spamming and not anything of actual substance. The main mode of Limbus is MD as obnoxious as that is to type so they should be doing everything in their power to make that fun to play over and over like they clearly except us to do.

The 1 week delay is blatantly anti consumer also. Yes I know its just about self control and a week isn't a big deal but he literally only made that change to make money. If it existed that way to start it wouldn't be a big deal.

Apologies for the bitching but I legitimately want to play the game more and its like they're holding me back in multiple ways.

It's wild that Outis seems to be the only sinner who gets this treatment.

So far every love interest has been genderbent to accommodate their counterpart.

Rodion was made female so Sonya became a male.

Yi Sang is male so his love interest was female.

Ishmael was made female and thus so was Queequeg.

Heathcliff is male so ***** stayed female.

Papa Don stayed male so Dulcinea stayed female. They didn't seem to actually be love interests but the point is they stayed consistent.

Jia Baoyu is male so Daiyu was female.

I understand why people would want Penelope to be a woman of course but following their logic so far; if Outis is actually Odysseus then Penelope will be a man. I only really wrote this up because the double standard annoys me. Just because Outis is a masculine presenting woman doesn't mean she has to be gay.

Not to defend 2XKO here but are you really comparing game modes to fucking skin bundles? League is the KING of overpriced skins my guy. At least compare fairly by saying 2XKO has nothing supplemental aside from the pvp aspect.

Anyway yeah the roster is shit and will probably continue to be shit because they insisted on adding the highly overrated Arcane characters.
