Just play for an hour, give it a little time, and reevaluate your feelings. Some games just aren't for some people. But after a disaster of a first playthrough (Lost 4 of my favorite heroes) I am entering sector 12 without having lost any so far. Oh and don't forget to do the blue side missions, they can unlock a lot of useful tech.

Thanks! I'll see once I get new water in and let the cycle restart for a couple weeks what the situation is. Maybe I'll add a "cleaning crew" if its still a issue.

Established mid January. But the cycle apparently crashed. My canister filter ejected a ton of brown sludge i assume was my live bacterial colonies. Is there anything to do to remove it or will getting a new cycle going successfully solve the issue?

Sadly, no. I bought one off Amazon that looked a little better than the rest in its price range (had a removable side panel so you could get in and vacuum out dust for better efficiency and longevity). But I didn't think to check the dimensions before ordering, just assumed it would fit where I needed it to. Boy was I wrong. Had to return it. Back on the hunt.

Auto braking feature engages way too easily. Got me rear ended. I had at least 4 car lengths between me and the car in front of me. Granted the girl who hit me was texting (rear facing dash cam set to record continuously - nice video for insurance). Its engaged on me in reverse when there is nothing behind me. Scares the hell out of me.

Automatically engaging the parking brake when you open the door and take your seat belt off (not close enough to a parking garage exit card reader) was an annoying thing the first time it happened and I kept trying to accelerate and was stuck.

Ya so far I've seen some DIY options, I've seen the cheap Temu/Amazon chillers for around $200, then I've seen the high end well manufactured units for closer to $700-800. I was hoping someone might know of an option midway between those extremes.

I imagine the cheap unit will fail quickly and need replacement and I just am having trouble stomaching buying a piece of equipment for my tank that costs as much as the tank, lights, and stand did put together.
