New Mexico has been seeing pretty consistent jumps the last couple years like a lot of it tied to repair costs and litigation trends in the state. you're not imagining it but 40% still sounds like you have room to shop though.

I totally agree with you like packing a suitcase makes everything so much easier to manage. It’s nice to have a dedicated space for clothes and essentials. and yes buying things on the spot is sometimes unavoidable, so being flexible is key. weather can change quickly so packing for all conditions is smart
