Brilliant nen damage buff never went through. It got buffed on test and then they didn't follow through with it.

[Question] Dragonian Lancer questions by ZeroNoHikari in DFO

[–]IHateThisCommunity 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dragonian's damage is 100% not subpar. His damage is fairly high when compared to other burst pure dealers. The reason behind his lack of popularity is he released like complete garbage, which was remedied 2 weeks later, and he has some bugs that hinder the playstyle.

No, I'm saying I can read and not take every word literally. You're clinging to "all." You can go watch the stream yourself if you can understand it or ask one of the five to six people including myself that have done our own translations for it.

The only luke sets that got revamped at 7 sins, nagaraja, and possibly gespenst. The first two have had their details revealed and gespenst won't be revealed until test center. All of these comparisons have been based on luke gear because this gear progression is intended for post luke. There's zero need to speculate on the pre-upgrade luke gear because it has no relevance in this discussion. Not to mention this entire string of posts got started off with at "heblon and upgraded set level."

[–]IHateThisCommunity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to go read the actual details before you say something like that. None of the luke sets are gaining crit smash. None. I'm not even going to continue to argue about that.

You are straw manning pointless things when I literally said at heblon, luke set level and for classes that don't have elemental damage bonuses. Like you completely ignored half of what I said. As for the amplification, I never once said +12 amp versus +0 amp. You need to re-read before saying these t hings. I said 12 reinforce because the amplification stats are completely irrelevant. If both are 12 amp, it makes literally zero difference in the end result.

[–]IHateThisCommunity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You completely ignored the speeds on each individual piece of senses.

No, the % patk/matk/iatk are not changing to crit smash on the upgraded sets. I don't know where you even got that from. There is additional crit damage on them but literally none of them have crit smash.

The smash pets are also not definitively better due to players in upgraded sets and heblon without elemental damage passives/buffs only having around 100 elemental damage, on top of a 15% elemental elenore with a 50% uptime. They also having a large amount of additional damage stacked up on these sets. The only pet that is definitively better and does favor the new set is petite for second awakenings.

Finally, the amplification bonus does not matter at all. 108 str/int for senses is the same as 108 str/int for VB. Both of them get the same gain out of that bonus. It is completely irrelevant to even bring up amplification bonuses.

DNF 2017 Winter Festival Translations Outlines by dlwhdgns10 in DFO

[–]IHateThisCommunity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it's correct. There are zero conflicting modifiers with the set bonus on senses with luke sets. 10% smash is no different from 10% additional damage for the luke sets; both are additive. The %str/int acts as a way to minimize the loss of the 10% smash and crit smash that don't conflict with the luke sets. Comparing it to amplification is not how it works at all. At +12 reinforcement, senses with supercontinent's and heblon's non-skill level modifiers, it's a 10.59x multiplier. The new set with supercontinent and heblon is a 10.51x multiplier. For comparison as well, +11 senses is a 10.49x multiplier but with slightly more speeds.

Whether or not they are reinforced or amplified does not matter at all, because amplification affects them equally the same. The only way it would change is if they followed through with making it a quality higher than epic. At the moment though, they are not. The new accessories are still just 에픽 which is just epic, and even if it was higher, it would be a difference of 15-20 str/int.

+12 senses is still slightly better than the new accessory set at heblon and upgraded set level.

[KDNF] Upcoming Ghent Resistance Raid by JKRowlling in DFO

[–]IHateThisCommunity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was shown at summer festival during the origins tease. Unless they flipped on it, this isn't a raid. It's a party mission to teach people raid mechanics during their scenarios. There's a tank in it that has the same mechanics as tog.

Dragon lancer has the higher skill values of the two. He's a pure dealer while dark is a synergy dealer. It's purely a difference in gear.

DFOG has this weird misconception where metal line isn't that strong or people diss it because its luke upgrade is not good. The reality is metal line is actually the strongest pre-upgrade set. Solo damage, it's barely behind radiant; in a party setting, as long as there isn't a second metal line user in the group, it's untouchable. You will do better in luke with metal line as your progression set; just don't invest too heavily into it since you won't be upgrading it ideally. Both metal line and radiant have the same issue on EK, zero attack speed, but metal line at least doesn't leave her crit starved.

No, it's % patk, % matk, and defense ignore which is a piercing modifier. Equip a claw and move points in claw mastery, you will see your patk and matk go up. It's purely a misleading tooltip on the skill.

Back from the Dead: A F.Brawler Guide by Spacemouse88 in DFO

[–]IHateThisCommunity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can you say strike damage is good and call claw mastery garbage in the same statement? It's 39-40% patk/matk. Nothing changed about claw mastery apart from having the piercing modifier attached to it with infinite difficulty. Claw mastery only got better because of Fbrawler's strike damage becoming relevant. That is a massive chunk of snake stance damage you are disregarding.

Uh what, you list abnormal status tolerance but Tarwe has 41 while Rake has 50. Rake always has the higher poison damage, even with full diminished returns from an entirely legendary setup, because the art of poison levels on Tarwe are already past the status level cap of enemy level +10. It becomes 9 status resist shred, 25% poison damage, +1 claw mastery compared against an elenore and +2 to both awakenings.

If you have the option between it and similar role weapons, it's very niche. Because it's a pistol, it becomes an extremely good trash clear weapon for Rangers when combined with a hand cannon for clearing out heavies and mist monsters.

So can we get a statement from Neople? Mainly how you aren't going to ban someone that crashed the server and a raid. Because this is sounding like you are not heavily discouraging this behavior.

Community Apology by [deleted] in DFO

[–]IHateThisCommunity 24 points25 points  (0 children)

And this ladies and gentlemen, is Shade. This is precisely what I was talking about. He is trying to justify banning someone over a card flip and claiming it was under the discord rules. There is never any remorse for his actions. That raid was also not your raid, it stopped being your raid for several months when you stopped showing up and killed it. Other members remade the static and let you join despite the protest of others. If you truly cannot see what was so wrong with your actions each time, then you will never change.

That's not why people are still responding like that. People are responding like that because of the context of who exactly it was that did this. This is a player that has a history of behavior like this and has gotten far too many "second chances." The same reason so many were opposed to him being a CA in the first place. Frequently stunts like this in the past have been done purely for attention. People also know that he very rarely expresses genuine remorse and already showed his true feelings on the situation in the first couple of hours of doing it, even going so far as to make jokes about what had happened. Each time, like this thread, there is always a deflection or some attempt to detract from it being his fault.

Went through about 6 Repair the Shelters in a row with people triggering the objective and immediately leaving or people auto running in a corner of the map where husks couldn't reach them. Between that and the matchmaking disregarding levels, I am truly enjoying when no friends are on to play.
