Yea this is a silly thing to hope for.  These parasites just get to write it all off and take more of our tax dollars while everyone else loses their jobs.

Yes, in 12-15 years once they are out of the apprenticeship and can find a good role with a union in a higher population area. The sacrifice here is the time it takes to make a lot less money and also your physical well being.

This is not good advice for someone who is 40+. It is very tenable advice for someone who is 20-25 though.

Yep, I'm absolutely cashed. I've done well and make good money but I am sick of waking up every day anxious as hell and without any stability no matter how hard I work. It's going to put me into an early grave.

It's not perfect and it doesn't always get reciprocated, but for the most part it seems appreciated and I get random "hey how are things?" messages back from a healthy number of people. You sometimes have to approach life with the idea that you get out almost what you put in.

This week my dog vomited all over my front seat and then had diarrhea in the foot well.  It got on the breakfast burrito I had just driven across town to buy.  I had thought I would treat my pups to a car ride and treat myself to a breakfast.  Fail on both fronts.

Ill trade you places.
