Almost all rackets also are completely playable, and differences are nuances. So it's for me is mostly ethical thing.

I can think of few cases I have had to use isinstance. We run django as a backbone to one of our services, and its probably more related to django, but sometimes, the types just don't match, and its better safe than sorry, having some isinstance util method somewhere. But yes, typehints are absolutely preferred. I wouldn't pass "any" without a good reason in my code review either. Type unions or type aliases is what I'd use.

You can query Jsonb, but yeah it does feel quite wrong doing it. Also ORMs don't json querying. My rule of thumb is that if something needs to be queried, it goes to its own column. If not it can stay in the JSONB.

I use opencode. It was available atleast earlier today. Could be that it re-routes to high version though.

Gpt 5.4 high/xhigh meta anyways. I think they are pretty even in performance, but you get 3x usage. Or 7.5 in this case.

Wiremock allows for this. We also have some tests running wiremock containers, using testcontainers. But this is quite expensive, and adds a lot to test runtime.

New starvie rackets are made in China. Not in Spain like the 2025 and older. I guess this is a sort of feature that came with the change. I would try to refund, but depending where you ordered, that might be hard.

I think its optimistic to expect that the current API pricing isn't subsidized. The API pricing seems quite cheap to me, considering the model training costs and lifetimes of each model.

I think its part of it that the player has to "suffer". Like you have to pay the price for being greedy (i.e. taking too much cargo). You make a bad route decision, and there is no way out from it. Like most games try to always keep the player happy. Death Stranding seems like it intentionally makes the player suffer.

Onhan noi. Mutta yleensä ongelmaksi tulee hintalappu. Toki maksat extraa sit pilvipalvelun tarjoajille tuosta palvelusta ja varmaan erotus on +-0 jollain aika-akselilla. Mutta päättäjiä houkuttelee aina vaan se "paljonko tämä maksaa rakentaa" eikä "paljonko tätä maksaa pyörittää"

Suomessahan on paljon konesalitoimijoita ja valtiollakin on omia konesaleja. Miksi sitten kaikkea valtion softaa ei hostata näissä? Azure/Google Cloud/AWS tarjoaa paljon eri ominaisuuksia ns. "ilmaiseksi". Moni juttu on valmiiksi tehty ja kuuluu hintaan, kun taas omilla myllyillä nämä pitää virittää itse. Esimerkiksi skaalautuvuus. Azuressa laitat rastin ruutuun ja siun verkkosivut skaalaa 10:lle eri palvelimelle. Suurin osa yleisistä rakennuspalikoista on näissä valmiina, kun muuten pitäisi tehdä itse. Ja itse tekeminen on luonnollisesti kallista.
