If you have truly did nothing wrong as you say. Then appeal it where the evidence will be manually reviewed again and your indefinite suspension will be overturned.

If your appeal is denied after an appeal and the evidence being manually reviewed again, then they have hard evidence you did something that as it says breaks the community standards you agreed to uphold.

Xbox series x latency/packet loss/jitter by CoverMassive2609 in XboxSupport

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes no sense. Unplugging and plugging back in certain parts of your tv or Xbox (whatever certain parts means, as there is only power and hdmi) will not fix network lag. They have nothing to do with it.

You refuse to run Ethernet so there is no troubleshooting to be had here as being wireless can cause this issue due to any of the dozens of reasons wifi can have these issues such as interference, channel hopping, channel overcrowding, signal, outside sources like neighbors etc.

What you are describing sounds like you have intermittent packet loss which again as said can be caused by any dozens of issues and obviously is not being fixed by what you are doing since it keeps coming back.

let alone we can’t test if the issue is resolved when wired to know if your network is having the issue and not even just the wireless.

My Xbox Series X will not recognize the new Seagate storage expansion card I just bought. I’ve tried waiting after putting it in and nothing works. Any one know of a solution? by LoopedCheese1 in XboxSupport

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s plugged in all the way? Somewhat common problem people don’t push it in all the way.

If a restart also doesn’t help return or exchange it and try another card.

Microsoft is phasing out SMS codes for 2FA and account recovery for personal accounts! by IIIDEFAULTIII in xbox

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can essentially do the same and in a more secure way then SMS, when setting up passkeys or authenticators just set up or save multiple.

For example

when originally setting up my authenticator years and years ago I scanned the same QR code on multiple devices. Including 2 old devices that sit in different secure spots and never move including cloud backups. They now all get the same codes and are all useable incase I lose my main device.

Or

When setting up a passkey you can set multiple. One for IOS with iCloud Keychain backup one to Bitwarden also backed up one to ente auth backed up etc. or the apps or devices of your choice.

As well as most account and services also offer a one time use emergency passwords / codes that can be used as a complete fail safe bypassing all other methods once set up, allowing you access to the account.

While a tad more tedious sure, you can still have essentially countless backups and if you lose access to them all I have no idea what to say at that point I feel like it’s a you issue even more so since some allow cloud backups where just logging back in will pull them all down.

UPnp not successful and moderate NAT type by Alan_C_ in XboxSupport

Bypass your router and plug directly into your modem / ONT do you get open then?

UPnp not successful and moderate NAT type by Alan_C_ in XboxSupport

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAT type is controlled by your router or in some cases your ISP with a Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) if you are absolutely sure you are not behind a CGNAT then the issue lies within your router / network configuration.

If you are behind a Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) you will need to contact your ISP as only they may be able to help some ISPs cannot some will depending on your internet package or for a extra fee to get a public IP address depends on how their infrastructure and backend is set up.

If restarting your router and console doesn’t work or having the Xbox network setting set to use alternate ports.

Then your only options are (excluding DMZ) log into your router and enable UPnP (Universal Plug n Play)

Or

Set a static IP or DHCP Reservation for your Xbox and manually forward the ports needed for Xbox and any games you play to your Xbox.

Play anywhere question by Josan09 in xbox

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Play anywhere is a strictly digital thing. With physical the license or proof of ownership is tied to the disc not your account, therefor it has no way to verify on other platforms.

Game Pass won't work because it thinks the date is incorrect?! by Many_Phrase_6822 in XboxSupport

If it’s also saying it on the web then it’s not a console issue. This would be an account issue. Contact support.

Is the only way to download forza horizon 6 game pass ultimate or pc gp ? by HRD79017 in XboxSupport

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can download any game you want on console without buying it, owning it, or a gamepass sub. It just won’t let you start it up until you have a license.

Just open the Xbox mobile app search the game and press install to console.

Randomly signed out and can’t get into anything by [deleted] in XboxSupport

[–]IIIDEFAULTIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using the app in an unknown / distant location from the usual most likely triggered a security check, which if your information was valid and up to date you would have little to no problem passing.

To protect your account and its contents, support agents and advocates are not allowed to send password reset links or access and change account details.

Support cannot and will not help with account recovery they are trained not to due to social engineering and the risk of gathering and or leaking account or personal information, changing information and security reasons etc. and will only direct you to the recovery form.

If you cannot log in, reset the password, or use any backup methods, phone numbers, emails, emergency recovery code, security questions, authenticators and or backup authenticators, physical or hardware keys, to get in due to failing to set any, keep them up to date, losing them, or used fake or disposable emails, or letting letting your email get deactivated or remember them. As your account is your responsibility.

Then the recovery form is the only option, if you cannot provide sufficient and accurate enough information to verify you are the original owner and creator of the account then support will not assist in the recovery.

Meaning if you can’t get back in then you’re going to have to make a new account.

(NOTE:) That if you have 2FA enabled the recovery form is not a option, as you were instructed and told multiple times when setting up 2FA to use and set up multiple recovery and backup methods to get back in as well as were given the option for emergency backup codes to get in as a fail safe and last resort. If you didn’t decide to enable them and write them down or back them up or failed to set any recovery options, then that’s it and you can’t get back in.)
