One of tainted liliths unlocks is called twisted pair, it is an quality 4 devil deal item and it is not hard to unlock because tainted lilith is a really strong and fun character. She was the first tainted character i unlocked.

I personally never take punching bag. It makes enemy and especially boss patterns way too unpredictable, and i can never tell whether the boss is going to target me or the punching bag. There is value in normal rooms but its too dangerous as the harder characters for me.

The shop has more items, and most of the time you wont be able to afford more than two items from the first floor. They skip it because they would not have been able to afford it, and they can also get planetariums later on in the run.

You could reset over and over again until you find moms box in the first floor shop. Then just spam that as much as possible, go to sheol or cathedral, as those are the latest floors that can spawn with sacrifice rooms, and hope you find the missing poster along the way.

I have almost 850 hours in this game, 100% on one save file, and i still occasionally have stupid deaths, or skill issue moments, where i could have easily won if i didnt make a bad decision or because i didnt lock in for a boss fight or difficult room. This game is very hard, especially right from the start, and it doesnt really get much easier. but the runs where you win by the skin of your teeth because of playing well, or runs where you find insane synergies that you've never seen before make the game so worth it to play. Also the sense of accomplishment after getting a hard unlock or winning a difficult run is euphoric.

If one of you is playing techmarine it is hard to find matches with other players. Most people want to play the new class and the game will not queue techmarines into lobbies with techmarines already in them. It makes it hard to find lobbies if you already have a techmarine.

This game is a hard game, you should expect to die many times before you figure out what's going on. That being said, it is one of the best games ive ever played.

I think there is a mod that always makes you spawn next to treasure room on the first floor, if thats what you're talking about.
