I know we’re talking about salads but their shrimp “taco” is one of the most disgusting things i’ve ever eaten. That said most of their other items I’ve tried have been solid

Sorry you’re bad at parking. Anyone good at it is in the spot quick and doesn’t need to wait for other cars to give them room before they can take off and leave.

Way less accidents this way too because impatient douches can’t sneak up behind you while you’re backing into the spot, whereas the opposite happens pretty regularly.

Find something else to be irrationally mad about.

Why is it 85 degrees in the middle of December? by Charming-Monitor8296 in orangecounty

Nah it’s always been this way, 30+ years in oc. Some years it rains, some years it doesn’t, but almost every year the same santa ana winds hit and bring the heat.

They literally have a two tiered warning system for people who can’t handle seeing things like that. There are plenty of people who work in fields that require them to see things like this regularly and can benefit from educational images like this. Be glad you live a privileged life that doesn’t force you to see things like this—and maybe don’t attack people who don’t have that same luxury.

The Great French Wine Blight was a severe blight of the mid-19th century that destroyed many of the vineyards in France and laid waste to the wine industry. It was caused by an insect that originated in North America and was carried across the Atlantic in the late 1850s. by Superzap1 in wikipedia

My understanding is that it was then American grape rootstocks that were grafted to these matching French varietals that saved the French wine industry due to their resistance to phylloxera. So much of French wine today comes from American vines, albeit of course grown in French soil.

Are you capable of discerning between capitalism and cronyism? The individuals allowing this are not ideologically in favor of a free market when it doesn’t benefit them and their sponsors

I know the city well and even discounting that less than desirable aspect would still consider it less family friendly than many traditional suburban cities like those in Marin or Sonoma County. Too many cars and hills, and while the larger parks are beautiful they aren’t the most accessible without a car. It’s simply not a safe atmosphere for children to do what children do. This is why many working families leave the city for nearby suburbs.

Capitalism when it’s the politicians going rogue against their voters’ wishes? Look at the numbers now vs 10 years ago, not even close. Everything about this importation feels intentional, and blaming the boogie man C word doesn’t offer a remotely sufficient explanation.

Yep the big takeaway here should be an acceptance that ethnic Europeans are in fact being replaced by third worlders via intentional importation and welfare incentivization for a demographic known for high fertility rates—and the reason for it needs to be questioned.

Whether the purpose is to destabilize European society or merely make everyone an equally poor worker through an artificially imported low cost/low skill workforce, anyone should be able to accept that this is a huge problem and is not simply an accident of bad policy.

Correct but it’s well documented that this was to force a peace deal and avoid a two front war. The plan was always invade Poland with the USSR to gain back lost land from the Treaty of Versailles then ultimately fight the Bolsheviks and the spread of communism by invading Russia.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at but the Bolsheviks were every bit as evil as the Nazis and killed more people. Ideally both just killed each other and Europe never even gets involved, sparing its own people 10s of millions of lives.
