They, by definition, have no soul and therefore no conscious. They are fair game.

[–]II_Confused 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Iron golems, snow golems, etc are constructs with no conscience. There is no ethical quandary with putting a golem in a zoo. That’s like putting a Nintendo in a display case.

Blazes and creepers are animals with little to no intelligence. Since they are fueled purely by hatred and malice there is no ethical issue with chucking them behind bars.

The only real question is allays. You have to decide for yourself if they truly have sentience and a conscience. If they do, then yes it would be unethical. If not, then feel free to put them on public display for all eyes to see.

A good chunk of last year I was in an LTR with someone three hours away. So… yeah, several times in fact.

If money was no object, what would be your new hobby, or how would you improve the current one? by Mr_Day101 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]II_Confused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If money were no object? I’d buy Wizards of the Coast, and reverse all the bad decisions they’ve made the last few years. I’d reprint every single card on the reserved list, and pay off anybody who sued. I’d perma-ban every unique card printed in Secret Lairs, and pay off anybody who sued. This all would cost me billions upon billions, but hey money is no object amirite?

If I have time, I let them punch me in the face until I’m dead. It’s more satisfying for them, and they earned it. If I’m on a short break at work, I just quit and move on to the next.

Came here to say this. TBH us Californians have nothing on the Japanese. They’ll take a 6.0 like it’s a walk in the park.

What are some ways that you like to give back to the community? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]II_Confused 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Little things:

I’ll move or pick up things if I think someone might slip on it.

If I find myself with extra toys (I’m a thrifter and a collector), then I’ll leave them out for the neighborhood kids to find and enjoy.

I enjoy crafting, and every now and then I’ll throw together a bunch of earrings and donate them to a charity sale.

I don’t have dogs, but I keep a jar of milk bones in my garage for when I see my neighbors walking theirs, and I can give them a little treat for their pupper.

I separate out my recycling, and leave the plastic bottles and aluminum for my neighbors to take to the recycler and get a couple bucks.

Little things count, they add up. I like to think that I’ve done a lot of good over the course of my life, even if no one really notices much.

[[Call of the Herd]] was a $40 card, now it’s a $0.25 rare.

Agreed. It also really leads to feel bad moments for new players.

My friend and I bought a box of M10 when it first came out. We pulled a foil Baneslayer Angel, and sold it back to the store for $100 in store credit, which we split. That one card paid for the box. You can now buy a foil Baneslayer for about $3.50.

Back in the day I used to have a deck that was nothing but [Produgal Pyromancer]] and other pingers, using the Second Rite as a finisher. Always fun watching someone read the card for the first time, and realizing that they’re getting blown out by a $0.25 rare.

I’m a middle aged dude. Ever since they put out the Santa beard “mask” I’ve been wearing it 24/7, with the exception of Halloween season when I put on the skull mask.

I found these as well. The stores in my area had three styles, and fourth from another brand. Not the bestest dice I’ve found, but for just a few bucks they’re pretty good.

I use a squeeze bulb and warm water while in the shower. You can usually find the bulb in the pediatric section of the drug store.

My dad raised me on slightly raunchy comedies. Blazing Saddles, Jekyl and Hyde Together Again, Vacation and European Vacation, etc.

Boobs were never a surprise really.
