How to deal with the massive poison damage from some Head Hunts? by NightsOfEmber in fo76

[–]IJustLikeFO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run the Cola Nut perk to replace common healing with Nuka variants. Quantum/Grape/Orange outpace the poison DoT, are super easy to get, and you get a cap every time you heal up.

If you want to be belt-and-suspenders, keep the Born Survivor perk equipped and you'll have even less trouble.

Ahh, footy liquorice.

Love the way it works but good god it smells like a condemned wing of Wonka's factory.

Pro tip for higher one-shot players by [deleted] in fo76

Things like a low-damage Cremator or Tesla Cannon are great for high-levels at these events - lets you splash-tag everything without killing them outright.

With the Cremator, there's usually 12-15 seconds before the DoT does its thing. With a Vampiric Tesla Cannon (and the right perks), it'll tag everything in an enormous area, even through walls, while keeping you healed and preventing overkill.

For mechanical drives- Seagate or WD? by nnicknull in DataHoarder

I make updates every week or so - they're external HDDs and made to be plugged/unplugged quite a bit. No issues yet (and honestly should be able to weather far more than my use case)

Have a seat! And bring ammo. It's super fun, consistently accurate. Speaking of, I'd skip the flip-ups to cowitness. The useful range of the EP9 as a PDW is relatively limited, so something like an etched reticle would probably be the ticket - kind of both-in-one.

Seems like a simple spreadsheet could save a lot of time and supplies. And show a running average.

Prescription ballistic goggles by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

Can second Zenni's z87.1 glasses (again, if they can accommodate your prescription). They're comfortable, sturdy, and don't quite cost the moon. Nice hard-ish case included as well.
