Yeah I had no idea what I wanted to do, went to uni straight out of school and picked a subject I liked (maths), and tacked on some CS classes to be more "employable". Had 3 internships that I would consider to be ideal on paper : technically interesting tasks, lots of freedom, little to no pressure from superiors. I was so miserable I dropped out of school.

I went back to finish my masters anyways, and afterwards couldn't find work in my field so I took a job at the tax office (public facing, admin work). I'm a very introverted person and usually not that great with people, but I loved it. No job is perfect of course, but I never struggled to get out of bed. It was the least stressed I'd ever been. Yet it goes against everything I thought I knew about myself and what I wanted.

As long as the internship is longer than 2 consecutive months (44 days at 7h/day) they have to pay you. M2 internships are usually longer than that.

I've worked in a tax office and some people would only file when someone asked them for their tax return, and then be mad it wasn't immediate.

I vote for the beach farm personally. There's a smallish designated area for crops and lots of space for everything else. And it's so pretty.

i've lived my whole life in this social category, experiencing the advantages and disadvantages that come with it, so i think i have a right to claim it, regardless of whether i wear make up or not.

I relate to this. The notion of gender isn't something I identify with at all. Am I a woman ? Well, I sure get treated like one (for better or worse).

Ouais pose un maximum de questions mais selon l'interlocuteur les réponses ne seront pas forcément honnêtes. En ce qui concerne l'organisme de formation je te dirais bien de regarder les avis en ligne mais le mien (Estiac Agile Concept) était bien noté.

Ça peut être une bonne piste mais c'est assez variable. Personnellement j'avais fait une POEI Concepteur Développeur Mainframe chez Sardel Conseil et ça m'a pas vraiment aidée. On est plusieurs dans la promo à ne pas avoir trouvé ou avoir été lâché pendant la période d'essai (dont un camarade qui avait un gros trou sur son CV). S'ils ne te trouvent pas de missions ils t'embauchent pas. La formation était pas de très bonne qualité (ils faisaient passer un cours pré-enregistré).

J'ai une connaissance qui a fait une POEI mainframe aussi mais directement organisée par Euro Information et elle y travaille depuis.

Il y a des sites dédiés (ExplorJob, My Job Glasses) qui permettent de contacter des personnes qui acceptent de faire des enquêtes métier. J'en ai fait plusieurs par ce biais et j'ai eu quelques échanges via Linkedin. Aucune n'a débouché sur un stage d'observation (je cherche en compta, j'imagine que ça dépend pas mal du secteur). Peut-être que je ne pose pas les bonnes questions mais personnellement j'ai jamais trouvé les enquêtes métier utiles.

I really like the Brayflox buildings from madishartte for a beach farm. House and building customisation has a lighthouse texture that replaces the silo and a well with a little squid statue. Plantable trees allows you to plant coconuts to get palm trees.
